Sweetest Thing You've Done for Someone

What things have you done for your SO, buddy (of any kind I'm not going to ask), etc.

Bake a cake. Now I can't bake...then or now. It was her birthday and so I bought all kinds of sh..tuff that I thought would be nice...icing maker, icing coloring and what not. I acted like I forgot her bday, she went to work, I baked the cake...which meant I destroyed the whole kitchen. It looked horrible, I decided to buy a better one, but it was too late lol. I just landscaped it with tons of icing and some writing that suppose to say "Happy Birthday L***, I Love You, Me" ... it looked like a giant frosting with some coloring up top and some candles. lol.

i posted about this in some thread before...and according to my boyfriend he loved what i did on his birthday and our first anniversary.

i showed up early in the morning on his birthday with my gifts. i was wearing my hair in pigtails cuz he has a lolita fantasy lol. i gave him biscuits and gravy (i bought it since i don't have an oven) and fresh orange juice for breakfast. it's his favorite food (i call him redneck hehe). he thought that those were only my gifts but i gave him a lil bag which contained marbles. it was a practical joke because he told me he doesn't care what i give him on his birthday, even if it's a sack of marbles.

he laughed and still thought, that was it. gave him some shirts i knew he'd like. nothing really expensive but we went for dinner in a mexican restaurant since his birthday falls on a holiday called cinco de mayo. it was funny when we're at the restaurant. he thought i told the staff to give him a birthday greeting cuz the "happy birthday" song was being played on the background lol.

my finale was i wore a naughty lingerie in his fave color. i thought it was nuts cuz i can't come out without laughing.

on our anniversary though, we agreed to give each other some inexpensive items cuz it's only a week after valentine's day. aside from cooking him food, i collected all our paparazzi pictures, which my friends took when we were still dating, and i put them in a scrapbook. all the tickets of our trips, movies, concerts, pictures of places we've been to, etc. were all there. i know he appreciates anything with sentimental value, as he is a cheesy person himself lol. to top the cheesiness, i made a cover of my song for him and left it on my laptop's desktop screen for him to see.

to infinite, what lucky guy. my ex ex gf made a scrapbook she gave me it was the sweetest thing ever. i mean it was decked out, my old letters i sent her when i was far away, some of them poems, the anniversary flowers from the year before she preserved it and it was on it, the tickets to the carnival and movies, the little ribbon i made her when we volunteer at a kid's convention, it was beautiful, she was an art major.

another sweet thing i remember doing was I was working at grocery store when i was a teenager and this old lady who was handicapped needed help, but it was pouring rain, she was waiting there for fifteen minutes so I decided I'll just help her out, I took the stores umbrella and walked her to her car. I carried her huge load of groceries. Helped her get into the car. I was soaking wet...she was almost in tears she said this is the nicest thing someone who's done for me, i said no m'am it's okay. she tried to give me tip, but I never accept tip ever (it's my principles), and i felt bad she was old and looked kinda poor so I just thank you but it's okay. She said let me give you a kiss instead, and I felt so bad because she said she misses her grandson who was handsome like me (lol) so she gave me a kiss on the cheek. I was so soaking wet the whole night. I felt good though.

nice story, dude. it's quite interesting to see that there are still men who believes in chivalry. as for me, i still believe in catering for the person you love, as most men prefer actions more than words. i think the sincerity and passion of giving goes away once a couple starts counting all the good deeds they've done for one another and expect something equivalent in return.

I don't think it's guys who killed chivalry, i think it's women. lol. That just how I'm raised, I say m'am and sir to people in public etc. I can't stand when I see people that need help and nobody gives a crap. It's terrible how people today just don't give a crap when it takes no more than a few seconds of their life to help others. Especially older people or children...I mean I've seen girls sat on the rain and nobody offered them if they needed a jumpstart. I couldn't believe it, in Hawai'i that wouldn't happen.

Nasa jeep ako when a little girl (around 7 years old) na kandong ng tatay, vomitted on me. Basa ang blouse at pantalon ko. Kitang-kita ko sa mukha ng tatay na hiyang-hiya at mejo natulala. Nagsorry ang tatay and started explaining. I just smiled at him and said "okey l.n.g, bata kasi". I opened my purse and kinuha yung supot ng binili kong notebook. Binigay ko sa tatay and told him "baka sumuka ulit".

Minsan din nasa botika ako, may binili. Yung katabi ko bulag na namamalimos sa harap ng mall bumili ng gatas. He was holding his money in a supot and was about to hand it sa tindera to pay. The lady just told him, "bayad na po". Apparently, someone payed for his purchase without letting him know. Sobrang saya ng bulag. I was misty-eyed upon hearing this, di ko ma-explain. I still do, tuwing naaalala ko.

Yeah my karate instructor he does that once a month. He goes to a breakfast inn type of place, looks around the room and finds the oldest couple and pay for their breakfast.

One of these days I'll do what guy did in an article I read: help someone without giving your identity, and tell him to do the same thing to someone like a chain.

I'm not a sweet person, so you may find this mababaw and not sweet at all, but I think I made some effort naman and was actually the sweetest thing i did for someone.. when my ex got sick, he just slept the whole day, so i went to the store to buy him hot patches for his sore body and a box of ferrero rocher chocolates..i dropped by his house and called his brother to pick up the stuff i bought for him since he was asleep, then the next day right when he woke up he called me saying "grabe you're so sweet, kinikilig ako!" hahaha... what kind of guy would say na kinikilig sila? haha..

(ewan ko ba bakit ganun ako.. pride kasi eh). then the day after my birhtday, nagmeet kame and he gave me a 2 bouquet flowers... ayun and 3kinds of frames na flowers din. ayun naiyak ako and nakonsensiya ako sa hindi ko pagsipot sa birthday niya....

so far wala pa talaga... kaya sabe ko sa inyo, if given a chance na magiging kame ule, kung anu man yung na miss ko dati, gagawin ko na ngayon mas higit pa... pero parang malabo na ata eh... haizt...

kaya guys, yung may relatinship ngayon, naku if you really love someone, then pakita niyo, mag effort kayo and give your best lalo na pag alam niyong love din kayo... kasi pagsisissihan niyo talaga pagdating ng panahon na wala na kayo..
basta ganun.. kaya kayo wag niyo ako tularan....
eheheehe bad exmple ata ako dito eh.....

i guess that would be making time to watch his games. my ex was a basketball player in their village and at that time that we were together may liga sa kanila. i was working in a production house that time and i was juggling 2 projects at the same time. i was working in makati and their games were in cavite and alabang. i would travel from makati to alabang or cavite (wherever their games were held at that time) and after the game, i would travel back to makati for my projects. usually, their games would be at night, mga 6 or 7pm and matatapos yun mga 9pm na siguro but i didn't mind it then kasi i love the guy. i guess, that's the sweetest thing i did for someone.

INTERESTING POST!!

for me i think i have done many sweet things.

eto mga naaalala ko.

1. when i was in high school, there was this guy na crush ko and it was his birthday.. maaga ako pumasok then nag iwan ako ng cake sa labas ng room nila when it was still close na may nakalagay "happy birthday ___."

--too bad after that they started calling me a stalker!!! haha, funny memory though.. ang tapang ko dati

2. We went camping in a school in laguna. and then we came across this super hot guy. Then yung friend ko instantly had a crush on him. and here i am acting like a cupid approached him without my friend knowing. I told him, "hi, do you notice this person? thats my friend.. i have a favor, please go to her and talk to her.."

then he was hesitant at first but i said "ITS NOW OR NEVER" <--i was demanding, wowowo crazy kid. then it was a romantic site. imaging they were talking in an wide open field, underneath a tree. heeheh. good weather pa. un nlng naaalala ko

3. sa bf ko naman in present..

this is the craziest thing i've done!!!!

kinunchaba ko girlfriends ko. away *** bf ko and magbbreak na sana kami kasi bad ako sa kanya sobra dati. then 1 time i told him "PLEASE LET ME SEE YOU 1 LAST TIME"

it was in a mall in manila.
i arrived early with my friends. i bought go nuts donuts, brownies cookies, roses etc etc. then some letter i prepared beforehand.

in his viewpoint eto ang nangyari..

he arrived 11 am. my friend was there in the entrance with roses in her hands. sa rose na yun may letter, telling him na you go to go nuts donuts.

then in go nuts i left a box of donut with rose and placed in on the table. may letter again telling him to go to brownies

then he went there, i prepared brownies in a box with roses again then told the saleslady there to give it to someone when he ask for it. sa roses may nakasulat na naman na go to jollibee, i bought another thing for him there because lagi kami duon, that's why we know the guard there..

the last step was the quantum where there's a roses dun sa video game na lagi namin pinapaglaruan, then in the roses i left there i sais.. "LOOK AROUND, IM HERE" then

i was there on the stage, videoke stage then when he looked at me i dedicated a song to him.

AS I remember these things i've done in the past. i get ashamed of myself. hehehe. feeling ko ang tapang tapang ko dati.

ngayon wala nako lakas loob gawin yan, dati kasi paniniwala ko na i'm making good memories while i'm young. hehe
