What's on your "Bucket List"?

I was going through my old stuff last night when i found this journals i wrote back in high school. One was written about "The bucket list" (meaning things you want to do before you hit the bucket---die). It's funny how simple things were back in high school, yung iba mababaw lang. Out of 10 i've done 2 so far. Hmmm I guess i better hurry up to catch up on things.

1. Ride a hot-air balloon/sky dive (hmm still working on my height issue....takot sa matataas)
2. Meet Barry Manilow in person and kiss him passionately (oh di ba? sabi ko nga mababaw ako noon eh, I love this guy...still)
3. Learn how to dance and perform a dance number (yung dance sa "Dirty Dancing")....I guess dancing with Patrick Swayze is out huh?)
4. Marry the man of my dreams (guy's name is Kelly Willis, it turned out that he was gay....) ok ok, sige, I'll marry any man na lang

5. Make a difference in someone's life (hmmm still working on it)
6. Visit Italy and ride on one of those Gondolas --- (spell check).
7. Visit China and climb the "wall" (almost did it last year, kaso had to back out dahil busy sa "career"

8. Lose 50 lbs...hehehe still working on it.
9. Visit France and get on top of the Eifel Tower (done Nov. 2002, what an experience! Want to go back)
10. Visit New York and get on top of the Empire State Building (yes, just like the movie, done a few times in 1999 and 2000).

1. Spend a year in Mongolian steppe as a drover.

2. Get to wear a certain "beret" that I've been dreaming of wearing since I join the army.

3. Get my PhD. in Political Science. I've been dreaming of getting into Colombia, cross my fingers!

4. Run with the bulls in Pamplona

5. Surf Tavarua

6. Bill fishing in Tahiti

7. Do a study abroad at Waseda University in Japan.

8. Road trip, from Singapore all the way to India.

9. Earn my black belt.

10. Fight in an MMA right, even just one fight.

Outstanding items that I can remember:

1. Makeout with twins
2. Write a book
3. Do standup comedy in a major club
4. Be an announcer for the MRT for a day. Rap.
5. Go to Venice. Just go there. (afterwhich I can go home already)

- visit Jerusalem
- watch the Aurora Borealis (this is my ultimate dream)
- climb a mountain
- have a business so i can leave my family financially secure

- take the Before Sunset tour (Paris)
- a Vatican tour
be able to scream and shout "I love New York" in the streets of NY, Times Square perhaps.

- check out the pink sands in the Carribean beaches if they are indeed pink

- see my son grow up to become a fine young man
- to have someone hold my hand till we're both old and wrinkly and gray haired

7. spend a day teaching the kids in africa
8. spend an entire week at the beach with my family
9. treat my mom to a whole body massage, shopping and dinner.
10. buy my brother a nice car
