I've been there before. at patuloy pa rin nila akong tinatawagan. Last 2006 umatend ako kasi kakilala ko yung member nila then nag thank you pa nga ako kasi sa chance , only to know na kinda pyramiding ang sistema. Tapos sinisingil ako ng I forgot how much sabi ko wala akong money heheh at saka di ako pumayag.

Ingat tayong lahat. Huwag tayong magpapaniwala. Ok?

let's be open minded din, networking business hindi naman siya macoconsider na scam, its a way to introduce new products, a form of advertising kasi ako kumikita ako basta may sipag ka lang (hindi ito sa nu skin), ang scam siguro is iyong mga company na mali pag implement, ang ayoko lang sa NU Skin is the way they invite people, naalala ko nun nag aaply ako ng work, sabi nila nung tumawag sa akin mapapagkakitaan lang, tapos iyong line nila parati: diba professional ka naman kaya aasahan kita sa meeting natin, tapos pag iniindian mo quequestionin ka pa. naalala ko ayaw ako paalisin dahil pinapapirmahan sa akin iyong contract, sabi ko basahin ko muna sabi nila hindi naman contract yan basta pirmahan mo lang

i am very much intrigued. i've only seen parts of the blog, and i will find time to read all of it. i'm drawn by the fact that toby tangsoc was mentioned. we knew each other from years ago (in ateneo). sounds like he's been doing some bad things (based on the blog).

toby tangsoc ..wtf...from NUSkin to Galvanics...beware

i just received a call from him...thanks for this thread 'coz I will no longer waste my time and money meeting with him on Monday. Tama nga hindi niya sasabihin kung anong company and what position, pero when I texted him ang sinasabi niya na ngayon na company is Galvanics. When I searched the net wala akong nakitang website ng company na ganyan, then i tried searching "toby tangsoc" name, ang lumabas mga forums tungkol sa scam niya and his company.

Buti na lang may forum na ganito. Thanks guys!

Hay nako! I also got a call from them! The person said its from SYNERGY. They're a distributing company na nageexpand daw so they need people to handle their "expansion projects" kuno.

Tinanong pa ako about my 'leadership' qualifications, the person even asked if I'm active in any org, kung dean's lister ba daw ako, at tinanong pa ang GPA ko. Langya. She even asked about my IT skills (since I'm a CS student at that time), so I thought she was looking for IT people to do the 'project'.

Then she finally said "I expect you to be a professional, you won't back out on the last minute right?" -___-

GT!!

I agree, di nga scams ang networking business. Pero sana naman kung mangrerecruit sila sabihin na nila na networking business sila, hindi yung "expansion project" or "marketing opportunity" or whatever.

Tinawagan friend ko, kailangan daw nila ng non-pro engineers / engineering students for their new "project". What for?!?!

Thumbs down Deception and trickery

This company goes by several aliases:

1. Nu Skin
2. NSE
3. Pharmanex
4. Synergy 1 Global
5. Lead Global
6. Wealth Odessey

A legitimate company is normally very protective of its corporate identity. It takes years to build up goodwill and reputation so only a shady company would be ashamed to give you their name. A good parallelization can be made between this company and a criminal using different aliases to evade detection. I will not be surprised if following the damaging blogs written about them, a new name will surface soon.

Their meetings are held at:

1. 26F Trafalgar Bldg. at Dela Costa
2. 15F Octagon Bldg. at Ortigas

A quick Google search of either of addresses will bring up a slew of blog entries that do not mince words in expressing their disgust. I haven't seen any positive reference to them so far.

They have a new modus operandi right now. Instead of merely withholding the name of the company, they will ask to meet you instead in front of Starbucks at Pacific Star along Makati Ave. and then you walk towards Trafalgar Plaza. This is what the person trying to recruit me did and is undoubtedly a ploy to again mask the overwhelmingly negative reactions on the internet. So guys, remember, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. Or a scam.

They're different but they all share the same inherent characteristics. The difference with this one (Nu Skin, Pharmanex, NSE, Synergy 1, etc. etc.) though is that their recruitment techniques are very deceptive and cunning, they make sure that you don't know who they are or what they do until the very last minute. Given the notoriety that they have gained, it's not hard to see why they resort to this type of trickery and deceit.

Actually maganda ang products nila, very innovative. If you are concerned about your health malupet ang products nila.

Their company is not a scam but I feel for those who said it is, reason because the way they presented themselves I don't blame you but it's not a scam.

I also recieved a phone call from someone named Michael Tanghal just last night and he invited me to have biz meeting with him at the same place. I am so surprised kasi damin nya alam sakin sabi nya he got my details from their database so ok maybe he got it from jobstreet. blah blah, same scripts blah blah. since ugali ko na talagang mag research muna ng mga company bago mag apply, I forgot the name of their company so I just typed the exact address in google. bingo! theres an existing blog about 2years ago and still running. I read it and it is definitely a SCAM! muntik na ako dun ha. so CANCEL na agad yung appointment ko sa kanya.

Guys ingat lang lagi, always do some research about the company importante talaga yun.

15/F Teleperformance Bldg., San Miguel Ave. Ortigas

mejo mahilig sila sa 15/F ha.

Got a call from the last week.. NSE philippines daw..

new tactic.. they got my number from DLSU listings daw from the OCS.. ang hinahanap naman nila ngayon eh investors. They told em they are in an ongoing expansion program and are looking for potential investors willing to gain 20 to 30k monthly. (parang sweldo a.. para sa investors may fixed income?)

anyway di naman siya nangulit.. told him i have a stable job and a company on the run so i have no time for them. nanghingi lang ng referrals ang sabi ko "di ba you have listings? you can call any of them sila rin yung mga kakilala ko".. i don't want to forward scams to any of my friends and acquaintances.. not a good business attitude.

wish these companies would clean up their ethical attitude.
