Miss North Carolina USA 2009 will be crowned on November 15 at The High Point Theatre and Exhibition Center in High Point.

Winner will represent North Carolina in Miss USA 2009, tentatively scheduled for April 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The pageant is expected to be held around December and it can't be confirmed that the new winner will represent Gabon in any international pageant.

The beauty pageant for the selection of Miss Liberia 2008/09 has been launched in Monrovia and the final is set to be held on December 20.

The theme of this year's event is "Woman with Substance".

However it can't be confirmed that the winner will represent Liberia in any pageants.
