Key areas of responsibility

Respond to computer related service and trouble calls
Dell PC (Desktops/Laptops) – Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
Applicant needs to be willing to become Dell Certified on several platforms
Ability to resolve Windows 2000/XP Operating System Errors
Experience with Remote Support Tools, I.E., NetMeeting, Remote Assistance & MS Communicator
Basic Network troubleshooting skills and knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office 2000/2003 Applications
Understanding of McAfee Virus Scan software
Remedy Software experience (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Group Policy Objects experience
Experience with Asset Tracking Software
Experience with user ID creation


Qualifications

1 yr. to 2 yrs. solid technical support/IT experience
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Strong sense of customer service
Good organizational skills
