Since the Philippine Basketball Association
(PBA) opened 40 years ago in 1975, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see players of the past raise their children to become PBA
players themselves. To date, we have seventeen (17) father and son tandems who have played in the league. This doesn’t include of course legendary players like Caloy Loyzaga
, who had sons Chito and Joey playing in the league, or Lauro Mumar
, whose son, Larry, also played in the initial years.
