Sige, guys, enjoy 'nyo ORSEM nyo. :) Ang saya--I myself can't forget my ORSEM four years ago. What's the title ba of this year's ORSEM? Ours kasi was entitled Isang Daan. Pero I swear, I feel like I just had my ORSEM a year ago. The memories are still vivid for me. have fun, 'coz NO OTHER UNIVERSITY DOES IT THE WAY WE DO! ADMU!

i definitely agree with you lek-lek. one would surely be filled with fun especially if one is from the province. the production is so amazing, cute guys and gals are everywhere. the tour around the spacious ateneo is fantastic.

what are the things still vivid in your mind lek-lek?

Who can forget the chuga-chuga songs? hehehehe. And how does it feel walking in campus for the org tours under the scorching sun? But siyempre, I'll never forget the ORSEM party--grabe, being a promdi, I was bit shocked, pero eventually, I learned to accept the culture and all that. :)

Janice de Belen's actually an incoming AB Psychology freshwoman.

Kris has had her 4 years in the Ateneo. Ibang artista naman.

And did you know that Tetchie Agbayani is taking her Master of Arts in Psychology in the Ateneo now?

I think they don't consider the grades that much. I'm not sure though, transferee din kasi ako e. I took 2 summer classes last summer (blame it on the profs) but i still got in.

Then again, I'm really not sure. I guess you have to get exceptionally high grades in the ACET to pull off something like this though.

1. you should have high grades in your previous school. ateneo has a very high standard. e kung sa skul niyo pa lang, mababa na ang grades mo, you might as well not enroll in the ateneo. if you get accepted, you might just end up a drop out.

2. you should do well in the ACET. ACET is a very difficult test, i'm telling you.

3. competition is so tough. out of 10,000 transferee applicants and take the ACET (usually given in january), only less 100 get accepted.

4. dindog dantes tried his luck thrice, but he made it only on the third try. FYI, dindong dantes was a graduate of ateneo high. the first time he took the ACET, he did not pass. so, he stayed in san beda and got good grades there. the second time, he did not pass again. lastly, the third time, he passed and took psychology.

just want to confirm na bumagsak nga si dingdong dantes sa ACET and he also graduated sa ateneo hs.

I know from experience it's tough to get admitted in Ateneo.

I was an honor student in LSGH (one of the top 10) and I failed the ACET the first time I took it. It had a lot to do with my mental and psychological state during the day of the exam. I wanted to do very well and when I found out I couldn't answer many of the exam questions under time pressure, I just gave up and did not finish many of the questions.

Fortunately, I made it to the Dean's List for three straight trimesters in DLSU-Manila during my freshmen year. When I took the ACET the second time around, I was more relaxed and confident and I was even told that my scores were quite high.

I finally made it to the Ateneo last year and I am now enjoying every minute of my life as an Atenean.

I am proud to be a Lasallian and I am even prouder to be an Atenean.

to prove:

he graduated from ateneo high in 98.

he did not pass the ACET in his firs try, so he studied in san beda for s/y 1998-1999.

he took again the ACET (second try), but failed. so, he continued his study in san beda for s/y 1999-2000

he took ACET for the third time. luckily he passed and enrolled in the ateneo for s/y 2000-2001 as a freshmen. he was a participant in the ateneo OrSem 2000.

he continued his study in the ateneo for s/y 2001-2002 as a sophomore. now, he is a junior in s/y 2002-2003.

still, dingdong dantes is an irregular student. he is always away to shoot movies and soap operas. ateneo does not entertain excuses but gives a maximum number of allowable cuts, 9 per subject (3 units). these cuts should be used wisely, otherwise this would mean (W) withdrawal from the subject, and it is equivalent to 0 quality point.

we are predicting that dingdong will never graduate from the ateneo just like antoinette taus. she is very much despised in the ateneo. she may appear very bright on the national television but she is so dumb relative to ateneo standard. in fact, her qpi only makes "kapit" to the retaining grade. she has been under probe. she does not stand out in the ateneo.

btw, for those concerned, i'll be the.. umm herder(?), figurehead (?) for the OrSem Night EB... i'll post na lang tom, what i'll be wearing sa OrSem night.. basta i'll be standing under the ring of Courtt #2 (or nearby, if there are freshmen under it)
