Do students' performance really reflects to the school they're enrolled in? Whether it’s a good or a not so good school?

I’m an undergrad student of JRU (Jose Rizal University), and it was kind of shock I felt when I saw a 30ft. streamer hanging in 1 bldg, with a message claiming that jru is one of the top 10 law schools in metro manila and blah… blah… blah… blah... (based on the 2001 bar exam).

Who should be given the credit? The school, or the student who passed the bar?

Not always, but school will always be a factor.
