unang una d cast of tabing ilog, si patrick something, nairita sabi nga ng magiling kong kapatid kainis daw yun boses kasi parang "jologs" sayang tisoy ka pa man din. Kainis din yun cast ng Anakarenina, tgis and yun hindi kumita na growing up. Kaasar din si "JUDAI 4ever" hay naku kahit umiiyak siya, corny no nakakaasar siya. Claudine Bareto masyado pa cute.

man watch the youth oriented shows from channel 7 and 2, 90 percent of them are trying hard actors and actresses... kaya nga pabagsak ng pabagsak ang movie industry sa pinas cause of ppl na pacute lang ang alam... sad to say;(

its so sad... the philippine entertainment, as i look at it, is getting worse...

watch a noontime show... youll see teen stars dancing but obviously cant dance.... sing, but also, obviously cant... lip sync na nga sintunado pa... and they call it ENTERTAINMENT?... thats entertainment, best friends... they call it 'training grounds' for new artists... but do we have to watch these kids while they train?... is it even worth airing?...

gaya gaya... tabing ilog... hmmm... dawson's creek?... text... reminds me of charmed... oh please...

pinoy movies... so incongruous... an actor acts as a lowly farmer... but you can see him sporting a tommy shirt while planting camote.... notice their pronounciations... theyre so inconsistent... they dont even sound a bit like a probinsyano.... and they call it ACTING?...

character establishment... the worse is gma's di bat ikaw... c'mon guys... give us a break... show us something worth watching...

formula movies... hero is a policeman... hero has a girlfriend... bad guys kidnaps the girlfriend... hero goes out saving the girl... hero drags girlfriend while being machine gunned and bombs are going off everywhere... hero kills all the badguys.. the movie ends... wala na ba silang ibang maisip na gimik?...

i prefer watching old movies... so sad rpn9 scrapped their old pinoy movie presentation every afternoon... y'know, the ones in black and white...

'tangkilikin ang pilikulang pilipino' they say... no way... 2 stigmata tickets please...

i like old tvj movies tho... :)

Buti pa sa China, dun dapat talaga part ka ng Theater bago ka mag-akting sa film, Requirement sa kanila yon. Anyway, people please support the film (forthcoming) "Not One Less" by Zhang Yimou (director din ng "Red Sorghum" at "Raise the Red Lantern". See kung paano yung istorya na-justify ng film na yan...mapapag-isip tuloy kayo kung bakit me mga TGIS D Movie tayo dito, sa tinagal-tagal ng film industry natin.

I recently watched a "Maalaala mo kaya" episode. Imagine, Onemig Bondoc with Rosa Rosal, Bella Flores, and other veteran actors and actresses. He looked pitiful, really. They're trying to build him up, but I think they should drop the dramatic actor image.

OneMig Bondoc & Jake Roxas, hanggang ngiti lang ang kaya nila. Halos lahat ng young stars ngayon 'di marunong umarte, kung meron man, kulang na kulang pa rin sa praktis! Magtapos na lang sila ng pag-aaral, baka mas may kinabukasan pa sila.

Mas gusto ko pang panoorin 'yung mga black&white comedy movies ni Dolphy.(mga tipong Sampaguita pictures)

CANDY PANGILINAN and GISELLE SANCHEZ (young pa ba sila) - kawawa naman ang mga kababayan nating BISAYA, niloloko at nilalait nila. Pang tsimay na lang ba sila sa society?

LAHAT NG BOMBA STARS - sabagay, katawan naman ang puhunan nila hindi ang pag-arte.

I think these persons among others make the Phil. movie industry worse than its early years.But partly you can also blame the masses kasi kinakagat at tinatangkilik nila ang ganitong sistema.....

i think antonette taus can act. she proved so in her film with Lorna. Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara. Hindi lang yata sya nabibigyan ng good projects. i think tracy vergel can act too.

Kim delos Santos-naawa ako sa kanya kapag umiiyak. mukhang naeebs yata.

i hate angelika dela cruz. naiirita ako sa kanya.

Onemig Bondoc can only play ONE ROLE very convincingly ... a mentally-challenged unicellular organism. A retarded paramecium.

Pero ... in order to add appeal and market value ... at para raw mamangha ang mga manonood ... he should be wearing trunks ... skimpy trunks ... like the ones he wore in that OH-GAWWWWD!!!! mini-series called BURN.

please don't call them "actors" or "actresses". They are celebrities who can't act. All of them! I think Kuya Germs started the (down) trend with "That's Entertainment" and it keeps slipping with time.

Onemig Bondoc doesn't even exude character in his pictures, how can he in motion pictures?

I don't see the big fuss with Claudine Barretto (and her telenovelas).

I think the question should be...who among the young celebrities of today CAN act?

OMG, I'd have to say: Vanessa del Bianco!! Sorry to all her guy fans out there but daing, in this one movie we rented, my friend and I had such a hard time watching her -- we'd cringe everytime she had a scene. I know it's not exactly her fault she can't speak the language very well yet, but that's not even her major flaw. The bottom line is: she cannot act! It was so "pilit," the way she performs, as in very over-acting. I don't know if she has improved by now, cuz I guess that movie was at least a year ago, but she'd probably do a better job hosting than acting.

The Tabing Ilog Cast:
I just want to make it clear that I hate most, if not all the ABS-CBN shows. Walang originality! But, the whole cast of Tabing Ilog are fine young actors and actresses. And medyo mahina lang dyan for me is Baron, i forgot his last name. But all of them are all promising actors!

I'm a Claudine Barreto hater, I just dont like her! But given a good Director? Baka mabago yung pare-pareho nyang acting!

Everybody said that Diether is a bad actor! Again, good direction! He's bad in Madrasta, but he was very good in Bukas...with Angelu.

Hindi lahat ng bold stars ay hindi makaarte! Siguro iyung mga nanatiling bold stars forever! Exceptions: Ana Capri, a very sensitive fine young actress. Aya Medel, medyo asiwa lang ang accent.

At correction, hindi rin lahat ng mga nasa theater ay marunong or magaling umarte. Ang ACTING ay habambuhay na pag-aaral. Hindi ito nakukuha sa isang workshop lang, or isang pelikula lang! Acting is like life! Mahabang proseso bago mo ma-achieve yung peak!

Aminin man ninyo o hindi, lahat kayo ay nagpantasyang maging artista din! So, para maging fruitful ang posting dito, huwag pairalin ang ugaling Pinoy! Ang "inggit"! Siguro kahit dito lang sa internet, mababago natin ng kaunti ang isa sa pinakamasama nating ugali!

I was gonna say Onemig, pero gasgas na sya- pano ba sumikat yon? I thought he was cute at first (sowee...LOL), pero after a while... ngek!

Most don't or can't portray the characters- instead, they portray THEMSELVES, kaya walang pagbabago sa performances (kuno).

Saw both movies and they were both excellent. I will certainly look out for "Not One Less." Did you see, "Fairwell my Concubine"? That's a good one too. Another foreign movie I also enjoyed was Kamasutra. If you can rent it out coz it's been out for awhile.

Tried watching Pinoy movies but could not sit thru a whole hour of the film. The plot is same old same old----mayaman, mahirap, inapi, sinanpal, nirape, binugbog ng asawa, nirescue ng poging bagong kilala and blah, blah, blah. Pinoy film Industry is pure garbage. Majority of actors are just someone picked just because they have the mestizo/mestiza look and no talent required. Pinoy film industry has to clean up their act.

feeling ko minsan, tulad nga ng sinabi ni karlota, puro kaplastikan ang mga tao. puro pintas, puro complains, pero I bet, nanunuod rin sila. kunwaring puro pa-cute, pero kinikilig rin naman. nakakainis minsan yung mga galit sa mga artistang "maarte" at walang "K". e sa totoo lang, wala tayong pakialam sa kanila. pakialaman ba ang buhay ng may buhay kung kumikita naman sila sa malinis na paraan. baka mga inggit lang yang mga taong yan, nagawa pang siraan ang mga taong nagbibigay aliw (clean Entertainment).
we could agree that some actors/actresses are bad in acting, pero nakukuha rin naman sa pa-workshop-workshop yan eh. maraming nag-improve sa ganon. kung hindi man magaling at may face value, wala tayong magagawa kung bakit sila ang nananatili dyan, sila kasi ang kumikita eh. syempre kung magaling ka, wala kang face value, hindi ka pa mabenta, sinong kukuha sayo? kung hindi ka magaling, may face value ka naman, at mabenta ka pa, syempre ikaw ang mas pipiliin ng producer, hindi sayang ang ipinupundar nilang pera. diba?

kung nadidisappoint man tayo sa mga napapanood natin o d kaya ay mga naririnig natin, e di patayin ang TV pati na ang radio, para di mo na ma-encounter ang mga kagimbalgimbal na mga pangyayari sa iyong buhay.

For me naman, halos lahat ng GMA young artists hindi marunong especially Tanya Garcia, hanggang ngayon walang improvement. Medyo ok nang mag-act si Dingdong pero kailangan pa talagang i-polish. Bobby Andrews also doesn't know how to act.

Kaye Abad can act naman proven na yan. She was the first choice of Mr. Gil Portes for the film Munting Tinig in which alessandra de Rossi ang tumanggap sa role. ***** lahat nang GMA Talents yun tama kayo dyan sa ngayon they cant act pa talaga. pero in the future baka mag improve naman. let see na lang. To all fans of Juday and Jolina of course sasabihin nyong hindi marunong si claudine barretto. sa pagkakaalam ko ang pinaka rude na mga fans ay yung mga fans ni Juday na parang nahawa na rin yata kay Alfie Lorenzo.
