it is the capital town of the 12th largest island in the Philippines, situated east of Albay in the Bicol region...

we are blessed with white sand beaches and cheap places to stay sure enought to satisfy a pleasure hungry tourist and a delight to a nature lover...

you can get to virac, catanduanes via Asian Spirit, with daily flights and by land.... u can ride a lot of buses going to Tabaco City, Albay and from the Tabaco City Pier, a ferry will take you to unspoiled beauty which is home to nature's finest blessings...

Hey, i've been wanting to go to Catanduanes. Three times i did but to no avail. Laging pangit ang weather. Could you guy's tell me what to see in Catanduanes?

I was part of a medical mission to Virac some time ago.

I enjoyed my stay there. We would work the whole day, but, at night, we'd go around. Yes, you've got nice beaches.

But what I remember with fondness is the food. Seafood galore. I miss the Blue Marlin steaks. Thick ha. Portions were generous. They would grill it with just pepper and salt and a little calamansi.
Ang sarap2. Who cares if we had ORs from 6am to 7pm?

my father is originally from catanduanes too and ever since i was little we always visit during the summer.

i was there last december and i had a brilliant time. the beaches are soooo nice and unspoilt. we also went to maribina falls and i enjoyed that too.

i know there are loads of places more to visit and i can't wait to go back this june--which is perfect timing coz it's fiesta too :-)
