First I dyed all my hair light brown (Results of the color varies with the brand of haircolor, Feria's good.), waited for a day and then got a bottle of powdered hair bleach and developing solution liquid from a local beauty supply. Then with help, I squeezed the solution to strategic chunks of hair (ie: hair framing around my face, etc) from root to tips. Waited for around 15 minutes (The wait depends on how strong your developing solution is. The higher the number, the stronger it is, the lighter the effect.) until the strands slowly bleached out. I rinsed it off, shampooed, and waited a couple of days to set it in. Got a deep red-wine shade and colored in the bleached parts. Make sure to deep-condition your hair afterwards for lasting shine and managability.

what are the brand names of the other products you used? thanks! btw, what was your hair color prior to dying it light brown?

In all honesty, I haven't seen my natural hair color ever since I was 14! :glee: My last hair color? Um, a freaky shade of ash bown with tinges of blue-green and blond from a previous hair experiment.

I used Shine Moist bleaching powder and Revlon for the second hair color in wine-red. As for the developing liquid, hmm... I kinda forgot the name 'cause I threw it out right away after application.
