Planning to go this summer. Anyone been there? hows the accomodation, the food. What is the best route to take?

been there again last january
accomodation in banaue is P100 per person (basic)
if you're taking the 10pm bus in manila, take warm clothing as it gets really cold in the bus!
the jeep to batad leaves people's lodge at 7am. the fare is P50
accomodation in batad village is P50 per person. you can stay at hillside inn, rita's, or simon's. these inns have excellent views of the terraces. there's no electricity in batad which is great! food is excellent at simon's
the hike to tappiya falls and back to batad village will take you the whole afternoon.
if you're going to sagada, you might have to stay in banaue for a night as the jeep to sagada leaves at 7am. you can take a bontoc jeep as well, then a jeep to sagada. worth visiting is the bontoc museum.

Am planning to go again this May.
Just a correction, I think Banawe is in Ifugao Province. Yata.. :)

those pictures are very good. *okay* so did you take all of those pictures yourself? it seems that you love to visit a of places! ;)

yes i did take all of the photos. thanks for having a look. most of the banaue pics were taken in may last year. i have to lug my tripod for the tappiya falls photos. but looking at the photos it was worth it.
