i know u had a tongue ring before, i read it from previous posts...anyways, i just had mine done last Feb. 17. its almost a month already but i have excess skin under my tongue. its like a crown....i dont know if u can picture it...uhm...is that normal? will that go away? thanks for the reply :)

a crown? hmmm underneath? that's weird, to be honest because that didn't happen to me or any of my friends.

:( now i'm getting worried. i have a short tongue so the piercer had to pierce it near the tip. the barbel almost hit the skin that connects the tongue to the base of the mouth. at first, there was no excess skin,the whole just formed like the lips then it kinda just grew...:rolleyes:

you can get tongue rings at 1:15 in Glorietta, it's by Tower records. Right by Figaro if I'm not mistaken. They cost about P500.I recently took out mine. It was weird the first few days. I had nothing to play with and the first morning I woke up w/ out it I felt like I had no teeth!:D

hey don't worry about it. it is just the skin that was damaged due to piercing. but it is natural.

you can buy one sa Cartimar. not more than 500bucks i think.

thomyorke - will it disappear? it doesn't hurt. the skin in the center is white then pink on the side. :confused4:

i had that when i had my tongue pierced 4 years ago. nothing bad happened naman, it was just like scar tissue. is there a lot of excess skin ba? i only had a little bit, so i just ignored it nalang. :)

karagozler..... i had my tongue pierced too.. mine looks like excess skin..... mine is around the hole of the piercing... it doesnt hurt naman... so i figured it was probably hypergranulation.. or a scar...... anyway...

did urs go away? how long b4 it went away? if it did?

mine didn't go away. in fact, i permanently removed my tongue stud about 6 months ago. the hole has closed completely, but i still have the scar. :lol: evidence of my stoned college days ...

hihihihihi........ man.. kakainis.........can u please explain in detail what the scar looked like? pls............. were u able to like kiss and all? without it having to bother.. coz im like afraid that im going to like get it infected or something. it doesnt hurt though.. just a little sore sometimes when i try to pick on the scar tissue.. it bleeds a little.. not the yellowish part.. but the main tongue.. can u imagine what im saying? hihihihi!! sorry.. ur feedback would really help.. hihihi! thanks

oh, i was able to french kiss, no problem. my bf then had a tongue stud too, and that was no problem either. we were able to do a lot of other stuff, too. :naughty: DON'T pick at your scar!!! it will take more time to heal, and you might end up with an infection.
