I just hope that this is the first thread of this topic

Pexers' and Graduates of 2002 unite! I guess we should have a thread for us, graduates, to speak our minds about the last level of education we had.

Just state your level (Elementary, Secondary, Tertiary, Graduate or Doctorate), your school, a little info and insight on the education you have achieved so far, and your plans for the future, or where and how you are continuing your education. Like this:

Helmut

BS Computer Engineering, Ateneo de Manila University

This is my second degree, after BS Chemistry which I finished last year. I think this double major program in the Ateneo has a lot of polishing to do in terms of the input provided to the students. Personally, none of these two degrees fall under the category "Personal Favorites", Honestly, I took them for the scholarships. My mind is set for a year of graduate study in Computer Science, again provided with a scholarship.

TO THE GRADUATES OF BATCH 2002, KUDOS:handsdown: AND CHEERS:cheers:

Good luck, Pugsley! :)

I'm graduating high school. I feel sentimental because I've been in my school for 12 long years (Loyalty Awardee!), and I can't believe I'm leaving it now. I feel excited too, because I can't wait to experience college life...even if I know I'll drive myself crazy once again. :)

All in all...it's bittersweet. :)

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL GRADUATES OF 2002!!!

im going to get my hands on my diplomas (eng and chi) and the loyalty pin on march 24.

uno high school

im not exactly very happy with my high school. maybe im being too idealistic and im wanting a "perfect" school, but i cant stand seeing the way my school treats the students and the education. argh, i dislike the administration. the only thing i like about the school are my friends and some teachers. i have learned a lot from the people. oh, well. at least im finally leaving that institution.

I just graduated from the Ateneo de Manila High School.

While I may have been steeped in mental, social, and spiritual discipline, I believe that no matter what, the drive for an education is one that shoudl never cease. I believe that we should constantly strive not just to learn from what we have, but rather, to innovate, to discover, to reawaken and be reborn in learning.

I graduated with honors. Such laurels, however, are not ones to be rested upon. When one wins something, he should learn to be thankful, then learn to set it aside, and then move on.

Onward, to living a greater life of obedient sacrifice. Onward to being lux-in-Domino. Ad majorem Dei gloriam.

To my fellow graduates, congratulations to us all. May God be with us as we walk the paths before us.

ANIMO ATENEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AB Interdisciplinary Studies

I love my school and I love my course! But I must admit kulang ang specific mentoring sa course namin. Very individualized kasi ang course ko kaya ang tendency masyadong nagiging independent ang mga graduates. But I still love it!

I'm currently on vacation, for around 3 to 4 months siguro. And then hopefully I'll be working by the last quarter of this year. I'll try to work for 1 or 2 years and in 2004, I'll be going to the US or Canada for graduate studies in film.

I'm really glad I've graduated(March 24).There's nothing really sad about leaving my high school.I'm only going to miss my friends anyway.I'm quite confident that my friends and I are going to keep in touch.

as of now, i'm enjoying my job. i want to pursue further studies (preferably in some western school) in the not so distant future.

i'm a programmer which is very fortunate coz i like to program but the company i'm with is not exactly an it company. it's pure luck na i went to a team who do their own programming.

i would be lying if i said that i wasnt proud of my tertiary education achievements. proud because my parents didnt have to shell out a single cent for my five year stay at the university of the philippines. however, i am more humbled by this for i am grateful to many nameless faces in our country for it is them that i owe my education to.

to the names that i can name, whether they be the hardworking school personnel, the maintenance staff that i got to know, the insightful professors i have gone under their tutelage, or the friends that managed to bear my inanities, to this i say: a most heartfelt and sincere thank you.

the gates of the academe that lead outside towards the real world have been opened for us, and once again the road forks in many different directions. fortune has favored me with a good map to steer my life with, i hope i can use it to the fullest. however, i wish fate would grant me a comfortable future so i can go back to my beloved academe and return all the graces it has bestowed upon me.

to those that have endured the journey to and beyond the academe, congratulations.

congratulations to the batch of 2002!

am graduating on June 22...

BS Computer Science with specialization in Information Technology, DLSU-Manila

freaky course. I would have done better if I actually had the thrill for it, but it's a nice thought that even though i was a bit indifferent with it, I survived. It was a struggle really. Gruelling. But it was fun in its own way.

it's a sad thought though, that after this I'm gonna be part of what economics call as the frictinally unemployed. Currently on the hunt for a job, it's fun but after a while, it gets tiring.
