But I'm not yet sure if I'm gonna study there. My parents kasi prefer La Salle. Which do you think is better? I'm confused!!!

hello po, ginoong i_love_nicole. gusto ko lang pong i-correct. ang med po ng dlsu ay sa dlsu-hsc (health sciences campus). matagal na pong hindi eac yun. saka, yun pong ini-imply n'yo, pangit ang med namin (o natin, lasalyano ka, ryt?). maganda naman po, e. 60 % passing sa board, pumupwesto pa sa top 20. just to let you know. peace!

anyway, 16thangel, maganda po ang premed ng dlsu, kung bio or human bio ang napuntahan mo. at tama rin si bb nice_chick. maganda po ang business ng dlsu... saka ang eng courses ng dlsu. can't say sa uste. sabi maganda raw archi nila. saka med, kasi established na sila dun. ayon. hope that helped.

Well my course sa both universities is BS BIO which is pre-med. I know na maganda and medicine ng UST pero I wanna know kung saan mas ok ang pre-med. Anyway, you said naman na ok ang bio sa dlsu. Thanks again!

If its business, management, commerce, computers and the like, go to DLSU.

i passed my first choice and waitlisted in my 2nd choice... weird... ECE was my 2nd choice and their math test,i find, is very easy... pathetic... i passed the bigger 3 univ. and ust's just gonna place me as waitlisted...! well, at least i managed to pass the 4...

After being waitlisted in The Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas' ECE, at least you still have other options like u.p. and ateneo. Good luck. :)

an UPCAT passer and felt very confident to pass ECE in UST.

Unfortunately, I didn't. I wasn't even included in the waiting list.

I TOOK ONLY TWO ENTRANCE EXAMS DURING MY TIME. UP, BECAUSE I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO STUDY THERE, AND UST, BECAUSE MY PARENTS WANTED ME TO BE THERE. I DIDN'T TAKE THE ATENEO EXAM BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE TOO EXPENSIVE, AND I WAS TARGETTING THE MEDICAL FIELD ANYWAY, AND WHEN YOU'RE FROM THE PROVINCE, YOU DON'T REALLY CONSIDER ATENEO WHEN YOU WANT TO GO INTO PRE-MED. OR MAYBE I WAS JUST CLUELESS, I REALLY DON'T KNOW. :D LASALLE, WELL, I JUST WASN'T INTERESTED. :)

I PASSED BOTH.

WHAT I NOTICED WAS, IT DOESN'T FOLLOW THAT WHEN YOU PASSED THE UPCAT, YOU'RE SURE TO PASS IN UST. EWAN KO KUNG BAKIT. I KNOW SOMEONE WHO PASSED NON-QUOTA IN UPCAT, BUT DIDN'T EVEN BECOME WAITLISTED IN UST COMMERCE. OF COURSE, THERE ARE OTHER UST PASSERS WHO DON'T MAKE IT IN THE UPCAT DIN NAMAN.

MAYBE IT'S ALL A MATTER OF LUCK. :lol:

SERIOUSLY, I GUESS BOTH UNIVERSITIES HAVE SPECIFIC THINGS THEY'RE LOOKING FOR WHEN ACCEPTING APPLICANTS. SWERTE LANG TALAGA IF YOU FULFILL BOTH.
