Mga Dormers ng UP Diliman- ano ang kwento ninyo?

ano ang inyong mga kwento?

Alam ko- noong freshman kami- parati kaming maynabobosohan na "exhibitionist" na taga Yakal - nga pala, binalak nmin ding hanapin yung "secret" access sa 3rd floor ng kalayaan para makaboso sa girl's wing noon- pero dehins namn nahanap. :(

Ano pa ba? ang walang katapusang inuman, pusoy at tong-its, gate crashing sa mga open house....

Tsong, 'to ba yung tinaguriang "FIVE O'CLOCK HABIT"? Totoo ba 'to, o usapang lasing lang na naging urban myth? Dehins kasi ako nakapag-dorm nun e. Pero nung marinig ko to, ninais kong maging freshmen uli para makapag-Kalayaan. Hehehe.

Nadiskubre po ng mga awtoridad yung secret access sa 3rd floor- at sinementuhan na po ito noong 1989 :(

and so medyo na-miss out ko yung fun dun. medyo lang kasi my friends still managed to sneak me inside the dorm...squatter ng kalayaan. at ng sampaguita.

and then almost akong tinaggap sa ilang. pero sobrang saya na ng buhay ko sa labas ng dorm, i chunked my application by the time tinanggap ako.

btw, yung first floor sa yakal. yung malapit sa sakayan ng jeep...may secret passage daw dun. hehehehe. na-smuggle nung isang orgmate ko yung girlfriend niya sa loob.

pero masaya talaga pag-open house. lalo na sa yakal at sa narra!

;) not so secret passageway- yung Fire Exit access lang po yun- noong panahon namin, kinupit namin yung keyring ng guard- at pina-duplicate namin yung susi sa padlock doon :)

went to kalayaan... then moved on to molave until i graduated...

i'm kalayaan batch '93 - the one famous for the food poisoning incident... hanggang ngayon... hindi ko pa rin alam ang nangyari sa kaso na 'yun... hehehe... anyway... ghost stories ba gusto niyo?

try to find a copy of the short story, "Ang Tunay Na Basement" which circulated the campus sometime 1994... it explains why the Kalayaan basement is half (and almost) at level with the outside street... according to the urban legend... buried underneath the present basement floor is the real basement which was allegedly covered up because of some paranormal activities which used to happen there

creepy... hehehe...

lastly, nag-dorm blessing ang Kalayaan during the start of our second semester back then because of several unexplained incidents which happened during the first sem... hehehe...

our batch was, i think, the last one who successfully found and utilized the secret passage to the girl's bathroom through the roof... hep hep hep... before i get some nasty comments here... i would like to say na hindi ako kasali sa pamboboso na 'yan kaya malinis ang mga kamay ko (literally and figuratively)... grabe, andumi talaga dun sa may bubong... gagapang ka talaga... puro alikabok sila pagkatapos nilang manilip. :)

Hmm, my boss also told me that they also did the harana thingy during their time, late 1960s siya sa UP e.

Wow. Ang saya naman nun. Sana naging dormer din ako, kaya lang sa malayong lugar pa ako ng Marikina nakatira e. hehehe :)

I really hope they revive some of the traditions in UP.

I almost stayed in a dorm sa Kalayaan para feel ko pagka student ko sa UP. Kaya lang, ayaw naman ng parents ko. Papano, sa likod ng UP lang kami nakatira. Hayyyy.. sayang. :(

i'm not a dormer kasi i live sa visayas lang, so mejo out of the question na kung magdodorm ako or hindi.
i was able to watch mutya ng molave kasi i have friends dun.
kakatawa! i was shocked to find out na some of the guys even shaved their legs for the contest. pero sabi ng friends ko mas masaya daw yung mga late 90's na. pero still, kakaiba itong mutya ng molave.:)

Kalay dormers, anyone here who knows Ivan Henares? I think sya yata head ng dormers ng Kalay noong '98. Basta ka-batch niya yung 2001 EIC ng Kule.

Ang kwento niya, doon daw sa CR ng guys, may nakita siyang guy who wiped mud on his face. Endless dream nga raw coz he kep't on waking up and waking up only to find himself living a dream all over again.

Well eniweyz... halos lahat naman ng dorm sa UP di naubusan ng urban legends di ba?
