OK naman ang SBC Red Lions. Magagaling sila and I am hoping umangat na standing nila this coming NCAA season.

i dont exactly know kung sino-sino na nasa team ngayon...... pero i heard na si vin velasco ang co-capatain.... c jal casio, c gene nuevo (lumipat sa rowing team), c arnold oliveros (yata,not sure ksi he just got married), c james juco (im mot sure din, *** din), ci britt din yata eh....wala na sa team.... pero il ask somebody na lang there kung cnu-*** ang nasa bagong line-up ng team....

I've seen that they have acquired the services of former Red Robin Paul Dhanru Gonzalgo. This could be a plus to their team, but they also need to beef up their frontline for a stronger and more complete lineup.

I think that San Beda has a talented lineup. Sana nga mas maganda ang sports program nila para hindi na umalis ang high school players nila to be elevated sa college.

They won kanina sa Ambrosio Padilla Cup over Trinity College. Their lineup there is most likely to be their NCAA team as well.

Ang talagang nawala sa team nila this year is Arnold Oliveros due to graduation. However, I've noticed that nawala na si (first name nun?) Casio sa lineup. Ace playmaker and shooter Britt Reroma is also missing.

They also added Mike Casino of La Salle to man their frontline. However, he has to serve his residency pa before he plays sa NCAA for the Red Lions.

Anyway...back to the topic. :)

Some promising rookies of San Beda include Jerome Paterno and Alex Angeles. I saw them play in the Fr. Martin Cup under the banner of San Beda-A, ok naman sila. Maybe a little more seasoning will get them going, but I see them to be good additions to the team.

i have to agree.... they play well... i was able to watch their game last thursday against University of Angeles kaya *** talo sila by 8 pts... pero ok lang.... bawi na lang sa next game!!!

Galing pala nung Bombeo. 1st tym ko kaninang nakanood this season ng NCAA e. Buti na lang di sya na pirate ng UAAP. Dapat talaga maglaan ng fund ang Beda para sa Sports program nila. Ang daming magagling sa juniors na lumilipat e. Sayang naman dahil Beda ang nag nurture tapos ang mga Universities ang makikinabang.

kumusta na fellow bedans este dating co-bedans. sana umangat na standing nyo. parang kayo yata ang kulelat ngayong season e kayo pa man din ang host. :( biti pa magpraktis na lang yung players nyo at e-exercise nyo ang teamwork..... gudluck na lang sa susunod na laban....

The Red Lions were able to finish the eliminations at seventh place with a 2-12 win-loss record. Not bad from a 1-13 tally last season. They proved themselves to be a fighting team, as compared to last year's performance wherein they lost by big margins. This season was different, as the host team were able to earn respect from their opponents as they lost in very tough and close games.

Next year, it is expected that the SBC Red Lions will have a better and stronger lineup with the arrival of reserve players who are serving residency this year. At the same time, a better sports program is impending. No one is graduating yet so expect an intact lineup, as well some juniors players who may be retained if the program they propose will push through. I hope that the players would come back stronger for a better shot at the Final Four, and better yet, a possible championship. :)
