i don't think that mayette, say, tricia, derek, libby or amor has to leave. even if i'm not a pep squad member myself i saw how these guys took the pains of working hard for the org. they devoted much of their time and effort to put the pep squad in its pedestal - they deserve much of the credit and praise for it. it won't be as good if not for them.

i remember how we used to discourage amor from joining the pep. except for mayette, say, libby and derek and the others that i don't know, most were interested to join just because of the "prestige" and to become popular - and not for the sole purpose the pep was created for. we didn't want amor to turn like those girls belonging to the pep just for prestige who stick up their noses high in the air, overdress like a model or a party goer, and act like an arrogant and social-climbing wh0re. we're just glad that for those names i mentioned, our fears turned into admiration that they joined and worked hard for the pep SIMPLY for the reasons the pep was created for - and not for any crappy reason at all.

kahit saang anggulo tignan meron at merong deserving at hindi sa pep. yung iba for the sake of fame yung iba dream talaga ever since, well whatever the reason is, kung merong matatanggal most probably that person/s deserve/s it.

AFTER SEEING THE GIRLS AT THE WNCAA CHEERLEADING COMPETITION, I THINK THE GIRLS DESERVE TO BE THE PEP SQUAD. THEY CAN DANCE, LIFT, DO PYRAMIDS, ETC. AND PUMP UP THE CROWD EVEN IF THEY'RE JUST GIRLS. FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN, THEY CAN PLAY THE DRUMS ALSO BUT NOT AS STRONG AS THE GUYS BUT WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT THEY CAN MAKE IT EVEN IF IT WAS THEM WHO MADE UP THE PEP SQUAD. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. PEP GUYS, DON'T GET ALL UPPITY ABOUT IT.

i agree with kumiko_18 and wicked queen.god.willde_almeda does have a big problem.if i'm not mistaken,from what i've heard and know,kumiko_18 is a pep member....so basically,yung inaaway niyo,kasamahan niyo rin...i think but i'm quite sure na pep memnber siya.:D ;)

i don't find this thread appropriate! for those people who want to destroy our image pls dont use the Pex for the sake of hiding yourselves. kung gusto niyo tulungan *** mga frends niyo sa pep APPROACH US PERSONALLY! tell you what, i'm not using my Pex nick just for these. i guess every benildean i know who goes to pex knows who i am. so what's there to hide? even if you'd get to know who i really am in pex and in benilde, for all i care? e di mas maganda! and yes, you're right. i can simply approach any pepsquad member i know for any complaints i have (sige don't worry gagawin ko yun) but the thing is, i am also entitled to my own right of expression of opinion as anyone else, right? and what for? does our opinion matter to your decision-making in pepsquad, anyway? diba hindi rin? you may find my opinion 'wrong' (yeah, as if there's a right and wrong opinion), but it's not only me who find these opinion/s factual. believe me. and btw, we are not destroying your image or reputation as an individual or as CSB pep as a whole (ok pala no? para palang showbiz!:lol:! ). i'm just hoping for some open-mindedness here, that without it you're closing your doors for self-improvement.

lastly, di ka naman kasi talaga sasali sa pepsquad (kahit san mang college or university) para lang magpa-cute at wala ng iba, diba? kasi, CUTE KA NA!!! di mo na kailangan sumali at magpakahirap sa pep kung gusto mo lang magpa-cute! sasali ka lang kung talagang gusto mo pagandahin ang image ng CSB pepsquad at ng buong CSB spirit sa ibang schools sa NCAA at sa lahat - with your own hardwork and substantial contribution. wherever you go and even after you graduate, you'd always carry (if not drag) your school 's name along with you.

sabihin ko sayo, since day 1 na pumasok ang CSB sa NCAA e suportado na namin ang CSB. may mga alumni pang nanunuod, di nyo nalang napapansin o baka di na kilala kasi nga naman dati pa graduate. alam mo bang kahit yung iba sa'min na nagw-work na, tatakas pa ng trabaho para lang makanood? gustong-gusto kong makanood nun pero kailangan ko unahin shempre yung thesis ko. it's the same with the others who wanted to watch but can't since there are things that we have to prioritize first. kung libre naman kami nanunuod kami e. even it would feel soo akward to cheer within that little crowd of benildeans compared to the mob of other schools. at dun naman sa iba na talagang sa simula e wala ng suporta sa csb, di namin alam yun kung bakit. basta marami pa rin kami na sumusuporta. may mga friends ako na pumunta sa last cheering competition nyo. tchaka pag NCAA games, yung GAMES talaga ang main course diba. yung cheerleading performances, appetizer o dessert nalang. basta naman pwede pa kaming bumili ng tickets kahit wala na kami sa benilde, manunuod pa rin kami e.

nanunuod po kami sa ncaa at cheering competitions, di lang sa practice. pero di mo rin made-deny sa'kin na meron ding sumasablay sa cheerleading performances e. nanunood kami at sari-saring comments ang maririnig mo. yung isa tamad na tamad kumilos. yung isa naman sobrang OA magsayaw. kung sino pa yung major snob na feeling model e siya pa yung OA magperform. yung isa naman clumsy. pero majority, magaling. ngayon e kahit di kami myembro ng csb pepsquad, sabi nga ni taklesa, e hindi ibig sabihin wala kaming kaalam-alam sa cheerleading/dancing. kahit papano may background kami dyaan nung highschool, yung iba kasi cheerleaders talaga sa states, kaya from your performances madali mapansin kung sino ang sumasablay. yung isa nga dun kahit mataba e kayang-kaya nya dalin e. saktong-sakto yung moves nya at di matigas yung katawan nya. so from there, it's that easy to determine who's deserving and highly qualified and who's not. pero nga kahit mag-comment kami o kahit manlait kami, kami ba magde-decide kung sino dapat tanggalin sa pep? hindi rin diba. ;)

about the pep... di naman kase sila kase tatangap kung walang silbe... lahat ng kasale dito samen e meron talento at meron maiipapakita... di rin ako matatangap kung wala ako potential... ngayon inaamin ko na magaling nako magfloor... pero mas gusto ko magdrums... :glee:

kaya lang naman meron kayo napapansin na ibang mga ganito kase siguro that time meron kameng competition sagad kame sa mga practice... mondays,wednesdays, fridays, saka saturaday's... imagine that... kaya nyo bang tumagal ng hindi kayo nagkakaganun???

kung meron kayo nakikitang problem sa pep e stay out of it nalang... kaya namen resolbahin yun...

about the pep... di naman kase sila kase tatangap kung walang silbe... lahat ng kasale dito samen e meron talento at meron maiipapakita... di rin ako matatangap kung wala ako potential... ngayon inaamin ko na magaling nako magfloor... pero mas gusto ko magdrums...

kaya lang naman meron kayo napapansin na ibang mga ganito kase siguro that time meron kameng competition sagad kame sa mga practice... mondays,wednesdays, fridays, saka saturaday's... imagine that... kaya nyo bang tumagal ng hindi kayo nagkakaganun???

kung meron kayo nakikitang problem sa pep e stay out of it nalang... kaya namen resolbahin yun...

now bro, it is pretty much obvious that from the start, non-pepsquad members are out of pep matters. but as i've said to pao_liit, it doesn't mean we can't complain about anything that has something to do with the pep. i actually noticed the pep's high standards of recruitment because from the very beginning, we were already informed about it back in our frosh years in '98. that was also the time that we gave the csb pep such a high regard - sobrang nabilib kami sa standards ng pep before e. and it's a nice thought that the same standards are still applied to this very moment... it's very much understood that the tiring and exhausting practices can really drag. but of course, you can't show the other NCAA audiences or other schools in competition that you're too exhausted to perform, right? it's not that we're expecting superhuman cheerdancers and drummers or demigods in the pep but, we're just wanting to see the VERY BEST that the csb pep can do - masterful in concealing the exhaustion from practices and the flawless performances of everybody in the pep. by then, and even if there's a little crowd of benildeans seeing that glorious moment, word of mouth passes as fast and it's impossible that nobody can't go to your next performances. many benildeans believe that the csb pep is worth watching and worth sacrificing their time for. but if a single flaw ruins the whole performance, and no feedback is heeded by pepsquad members themselves and arrogantly bash it instead, malabong maraming manuod at sumuporta. di naman kami susuporta sa inyo kung ala kaming kabilib-bilib sa inyo e. ;)

well kuya, if you see it as a destructive criticism, you wouldn't really see its constructive angle. i really don't know what the threadstarter wants to happen or whatever personal biases she may have on other pepsquad members, and i guess i see your point why you saw it otherwise. irritating is not directly equaled to unworthy, because personally i find some pepmembers really irritating but they do perform well. just in my case that if i may use her point, "irrititating" encompasses a number of contexts - like "irritating performance" in NCAA or other competitions kasi OA masyado magsayaw, or "irritating" umarte kahit saan pero kung mapapanood mo e sumasablay naman. in this latter observation, ang ibig sabihin lang nyan para dun sa girl na pep na yun e "magpractice ka lang mabuti at i-develop mo ng husto ang potential mo, kung maarte ka talaga e wala na kaming pakelam, wag mo lang artehan masyado para di ka na sumablay." dun naman sa "who you think are the deserving ones and who should be thrown out" e, sorry pero ayoko ng humirit dyan. ayoko na talaga promise.

The people who should stay should be the ones who are deserving. They should have the knowledge on how to lead a group and are aware that their personal insecurities and grudges should not be brought into the squad. This time the pep members should open their eyes and see the truth..you all have to be without fear, now, more than ever.Leaders should keep peace within the squad, be it with boys or with girls, peace should start within themselves.
For a simple Benildean, who just happens to notice things around, you sure as hell know so much about the squad and each person that makes you so angry, at the pep guys most especially.Why so much hatred?

SA MGA PEP AT MGA DIE HARD PEP FANS:
okay simple lang yan e...maaaring sensitive ang thread na ito but the point is everyone has a right to their own opinion about u guys...pero bakit kayo papaapekto??? Why don't u just take it as a challenge to improve urselves?? If u guys bliv in urselves n u feel dat u have d ryt 2 keep on doing *** ur doing (as a pep member,etc) den let it be...queserasera...to fight back wid d use of foul language or something similar would just show ur weakness and insecurities diba??

u know what? I have some hypotheses why der r ppl who are just so ANTI- PEP!!!:

1) they are probably INSECURE of you guys...people have the tendency to dat...crab mentality diba?...there will always be people who will try 2 bring u down...Wag kayo papadala...maging matatag...gamitin nyo ang utak nyo...utakan lang yan tsong...si mu kailangan maging brusko kc sosyal ka dapat di ka dapat JOLOGS!!!!

2) wala lang silang magawa diba?? e kc pumapalag naman kayo e...kaya cge 2loy lang din ang pagtira sa inyo...

3) U guys have the tendency to think too highly of yourselves...Medyo feeling na kc ang dating e...if u guys could try 2 act more humbly rather than act superior to others...den u wil b able 2 gain d acceptance and d support of more people...After all what's PEP f u wont be able 2 get d support of Benildeans and other people as well???...

Actually I'm not so fond of u guys either...
WHY? kc nga sobrang bilib na sa sarili...magaganda at gwapo pa naman sana ang iba sa inyo kaso pumapangit kc sobrang kaka-prodyekt! kaka sawa tingnan! simple lang hinay-hinay lang...Mas maganda at gwapo sana kayo kung wala kayong star complex or superiority complex... HOPE UR NOT OFFENDED BY THIS... I mean no offense...Der s a fine line between being confident and proud, and being over-confident and boastful...

however, i also find it unfair 2 hear comments or criticisms that r just 2 hurtful!!!

Hay sana nga tigilan narin kayo...Pero lam nyo kc yung iba sa inyo talaga namang ang sarap tirahin...I just hope dat u wil b able 2 handle d spotlight more properly...After all ur still an org u guys are suppossed 2 uphold the Benildean core values...

hey, i dont know if ur against us or with us, either way thanks for the comment. the only reason we fight back in other forums is beacause of our freedom 2 fyt for our dignity. and regarding dun sa pagiging makulit and sobrang makulit namen at times e wer just letting go, we can t be serious all the time thats why we tend 2 be lyk that. so *** *** just telling my side. thanks again dude *poke*
