We really really really did our very best and poured our hearts out into the performance. I'm very proud of my co-cheerdancers, captain, and trainor mommy rose. I couldn't ask for more. :dance:

I was discouraged about the results. I saw CSB and St. Scholastica's college perform. CSB talaga dapat! Ang galing-galing nga ng CSB pep kanina eh.

Hey guys... why don't you just accept that St. Scholastica's College won? Do you really need to accuse and post judgement on them? jUst because CSB didn't win doesnt mean that there was a frame up. Be good sports guys... Scholasticans are taught to be honest students in every aspect. So if they win in any kind of competition, it's because they truly deserved it. LEarn to accept that you can't always be winners.

College of Saint Benilde pa rin ang no. 1 para sakin.... i really wanted it to be CSB vs. AC... kaya lang walang AC sa college level eh.

Well... St. Scho didn't cheat...but i sense sort of abnormality in the results eh. Last year's WNCAA Cheering competition... when I saw AC perform... I accepted CSB to be in 2nd place because I know that AC deserved to be champion last year.

we had to watch the competition for our PE class. i saw csb's performance and thought they did very well. no mistakes and they pepped up the crowd. even the crowd of the other schools were cheering for them. great job girls! *okay* but i was disappointed with the results. i saw all 5 colleges perform and thought even bene could have placed but not st scho. they should have gotten the last place. not the first. their stunts were awful, kind of like what their high school squad did and it was very elementary. the performance just didn't thrill me one bit. although have to admit that st scho's crowd was a pleaser since they brought their whole school with them (like they always do) but that was it. did the judges get carried away by the crowd of st scho? after all, 1/2 of rizal was full of blue and white. too bad, i really thought the judges were credible. guess not. :(

hate to break it to you but i think that even you know that CSB deserved to win. If you really say that you Scholasticans are honest, then compare your school's performance with our school's performance. Clearly, ours was the best one there. please review your school's videotape (I'm sure you have a copy) and see the BIG difference. I'm not saying that you cheated in anyway. All I am saying is that clearly, like archerblaze said, there were abnormalities in the results. I also saw many wncaa officials near the judges table before the results were announced and it even looked like they were arguing about something. I also heard from our school's officials that they couldn't even produce a copy of the said results and tabulation. Well, anyway, if you say you're honest, then I guess you know who really deserves the trophy. :rolleyes:

I also have to agree that CSB deserve to win the competition. I have to say that was probably one of the best performance the squad has ever done. I was stunned!!! Lalo na yung sa throw sa gitna with matching split sa ere. Astig yun ha! Keep it up!

I am sure na hindi rin totoong masaya ang mga taga-st. scho. coz they know they dont deserve the 1st place. I'm sure of it!

After the college level performances, I have no doubt na kayo na talaga ang panalo until the results were annouced. So disappointing talaga!

Congrats Green Peppers! You really did a great job yesterday. I know that you gurls did your best. And I know that the P15,000.00 prize money, nor any amount for that matter, is not enough compensation for the hard work, blood, sweat, and bruises we had to go through. I am so proud of you all.
The Pep boys were great, too. As well as our Boosters, though they weren't able to perform. I thank them too with all my heart.

The results were frustrating. Lalo na, nung huli, when we were asking to see the tabulation of scores. The organizers didn't want to show the tabulations, only the final results. Most of the school representatives were there waiting for a chance to examine the figures. And this woman ( i hope she's not from St. Scho) was shoo-ing us away. Very frustrating, indeed.
Now, we had every right to view those papers because we were competitors. Sa kahit anong contest, there has to be transparency. I have organized many competitions and contests, and I always tell my staff that all documents pertaining to the event must be available to anyone who wants to see it. Especially the competitiors. By letting the participants see for themselves the results and how it was tallied, you convey to them a message of trust and accuracy. Then you don't lose your credibility and dignity.

its very disappointing to hear that another so-called-foul trial happend to the squad...i feel for you girls...don't worry, im sure that the group who won in the competition doesn't feel that much of a glory...they might have brought their whole campus but its not the people who are performing and should be judge but the one who's performing and being cheered...i believe we all know that...

It just shows how far she will go to make her school win eventhough they are not deserving. Ang PANGIT talaga ng ginawa ng st scho. :bigvomit: Natatawa nga kami ng mga kabarkada ko eh. Yo CSB Pep people !!! . . . though i didnt see you guys perform, i know your routine was great - my friends and i were late kasi . . . but there were some of CSB Pep girls (the new ones) that were crying inside the dug-out after your performance . . . they were crying daw coz they didnt perform, i was moved by them coz one of them is the younger sister of my friend . . . after all those hours of practices they didnt get to perform - sayang !!! . . . my friend was really going to rush at the CSB "coordinator" but i prevented him from doing so . . . sayang, you should have told those new girls before hand para they would have not been disappointed !!! :( PEACE !!!

about that incident... kme din sobrang nagalet... we werent informed talaga... we are aware how those boosters practiced kc we practice 2gether... so alam ko rin *** pagod nila... the problem is with the wncaa committee... they are so unorganized... even us got really disappointed when they said our boosters cannot perform just before the competition starts... can u imagine what hasl the wncaa has made???

what just happend goes to show the kind of principles that you (the organizers) are implementing in your own lives...and if thats what you want to teach us (the present generation) might as well forget it...

Hi QT_fy !!! thanx for responding and sheding light to the "incident" . . . in a competition such as that it is bound to be emotionally-charged . . . i dont know what the WNCAA committee's problem was but they should have distrubuted the mechanics of the competition way before the actual competition so that teams would have made the necessary adjustments . . . did you guys made your point to the WNCAA committee ??? . . . anyways, its water under the bridge . . . my friend's younger sister is already fine and she seems to have gotten over that disappointment last Friday . . . I have to agree with lil girl that the organizers were so unorganized. actually, last year pa naman sila ganyan eh. this year, sobrang gulo talaga. imagine, when we got there, nag blocking kami sa gitna, then pinaalis kami ni Ms. Manila ( organizer from st scho) from our blocking eh, hindi pa nga kami tapos eh, para naman ang daming schools na mas matagal pa sa amin nagblocking. tapos eto pa, dun nya sinabi na bawal daw magboosters eh bakit naman last year meron! :shout: tapos sabi pa nya and I quote "We're not changing the rules just for Benilde... we're not going to do that just for you..." blah blah... eh hello LADY!!!!!!! what did you just do???? Last year boosters were allowed and for the other schools, boosters were allowed (didn't you just change the rules?!?!?!) :bash: another thing, before we performed our routine, some tall guy (wearing the WNCAA shirt) came up to me and mayette(our captain) and told us that there was going to be a parade and that we had to line up in 2 rows then go to the middle... so that's what we did (kaya nga nagmukha kaming ewan na pumunta sa gitna ng rizal kasi sabi nga sa amin, may parade daw!) and then, kami ni tricia yung nasa harap ng line, tapos smile kami ng todo... tapos the judges looked at us like we were stupid or something( they even gave us dirty looks... like, what were we waiting for) then 1 judge( the one in blue) asked what we were waiting for... we should start na daw kasi the clock was ticking... this is what she said "o.. ano na? start na! your time is ticking... may deductions na kayo!" (Ngek!!!! malay ba namin noh! may nagsabi samin na may parade) so tawag ko si mayette and pumunta kami sa table ng judges (which was right infront of us) and kinausap namin, we said na some guy told us to line up in 2 rows and may parade daw before the competiton... and gues what! ano sabi ng judge na nakawhite???? hindi daw pwede i stop yung time dahil nag parade pa daw kami!!! (HELLO!!!!!! magpaparade ba kami na mukhang ewan kung hindi kami sinabihan! :shout: ) then, Ms. Manila again, came up to the judges and said hindi daw pwede ulitin yung time kasi nagparade daw kami! NAKAKAINIS! EH BAKIT NYO KAMI SINABIHAN NA MAY PARADE! MGA SIRA ULO PALA KAYO EH! BWISET! :grrr: so, nagwalk nalang kami to our entrance positions and began our entrance and did our routine (and may I say na it was the best performance ever cuz wala kaming mali and lahat ng death defying stunts namin nagawa namin ng walang paltos!) I just want to name them all, liberty, liberty heel stretch, arabesque, twisting arabesque cradle, twisting pyramid catch thingymajigger, throw pyramid, extensions, 2 synchronized pike baskettosses, 1 russian/split baskettoss, extension scorpions, one unique dance (na hindi nyo nakikita sa MTB or eat bulaga), powerbeat, and yung music namin, pina mix pa namin sa totoong dj sa whereelse and hindi sya cheapipay na nakukuha and dinub lang sa radyo! :splat: and wait a minute lang po... I just want to add na, hindi lang Benilde crowd ang nagcheer samin kundi pati assumption, miriam, zobel, and i dont know the names of the other schools..... meaning, we didn't have to bring our whole school to Rizal just so people will cheer for us! Anyway, hindi pa tapos kwento ko... okay, so announcement na ng winners... syempre hindi kami nanalo di ba 2nd place lang kami... yung 3rd place nga nagtataka din ako kung bakit 3rd eh, mas **** ko pa Bene nagplace dun sa 3rd. and first place... hindi naman ako masyado nagulat kasi syempre, super dooper friendly friends yung mga organizers ng isang school with the judges ( sige na nga, wag ko na i mention.. obvious naman eh!) :verymad:
syempre, we got our award... then after that, our sports coordinators went up to the judges table and organizers and asked if they could see the results and how it was tabulated and everything (like what sofia g9 said, in any contest there should be transparency), pero what do ya know?!?!?! HINDI PINAKITA SAMIN DI BA? pero yung sa high school daw, pwede pakita... now... bakit hindi pwede pakita samin yung sa college?!?!?! Insecured sila sa Benilde. if they gave the CSB pep bad faces.. then mga stupid people pala ang mga yun... they don't know how to honor participants and worst of all.. no considerations! Namukhang insecured tuloy ang isang school dyan sa performance ng Benilde, because they know that CSB Pep is one strong and competitive team. It really shows that nakakaawa ang Benilde. :( For CSB... struggle pa rin sa W/NCAA. Hintayin ko nalang ang karma.

Another thing... other schools had boosters ah!? tapos CSB was not permitted? maga g@go pala mga yun ah!

i believed that we were cheated by st.scho again.. lets take the culinary grand prix for example.... what they did in the edible center piece were exactly the same as our but what they did is they just add some things..how did it happend? well, one of our professor happens to be their coach! cbs pep, you're the best!!!! we know how you worked hard for it. you deserved to be the first!!!!!!

to all the people who are supporting us thank you so much and for the others who can't stop hating us please we really worked our asses of for this competition and we know what we have showed them and not only our school is questioning the results. There is also someone who watched who happened to be a judge of other cheerleading comp. who questioned the results but the board does not really want to release the he tallied scores. So do you think that is fair?! how would we stop feeling bad. Pag nakita naman namin yung results and tama wmy would we react pa. In the first place kahit ngayon nila ipakita its hard to believe na coz dami na araw lumipas and you can't blame us na isipin na iniba na yung scores. THEY HAVE SHOWN US THE RESULTS LAST FRIDAY! yun lang naman hiningi namin para matigil but they did not let us feel na we really deserved to be second coz sa lahat ng hirap namin and sa skills plus the level of difficulty i can say we did very good!

As for la salle zobel they were informed that dance performance lang daw so they did not prepare for a cheering performance pag dating nila don sabi na mag compete daw sila. aND THE BOARD EVEN TOLD THEM NA tatangalin ang Zobel if they will not perform as in tatangalin sila sa wncaa and di na makakasali sa mga tournament so what they did is perform for the sake na wag matangal yung school. We saw their faces that di sila masaya sa gagawin nila. And i believe Zobel is very good!!! they were just not informed with the correct information.

CSB may not have won the trophy but for me, they will always be no. 1! They worked hard and performed well even without the boosters and the results in the footage should answer all the problems pertaining to the way this event was judged and handled. Hats off to the Kulasas who I know prepared for this event. But for everyone who witnessed the competition, they knew who deserved the crown.

We could only wait for next year and see for ourselves if the hosts have organization. And they should not withold information about scores because it is vital in gauging strengths and weaknesses in next year's competition. Perhaps the manner by which victory was achieved is insignificant for some?! If that was the case then what is the significance of tallying scores if the results were obvious? Was there something we should have done? Ah yes, preparation! And that was the first thing the committee should have done. Otherwise, their credibility as judges would not have been in question.

Everyone was prepared to compete, but preparing the competition was another matter. :shakehead:

well, all sir rene told us was to write a letter of what happened and hand it to him or to mommy rose or to mayette. it's for suggestions for next year. they cant do anything about it anyway. like he said, they're just "winners by announcement." but from what i've been hearing, they're not too happy about what happened but we can't do anything about it anyway... :uh:

I know how you guys feel about what had happened. Probably, it even caused you some sleepless nights thinking that your group should be the one jumping for joy during the annoucement of winners. Parang gusto mong manapak na tao sa nangyaring yun eh! Di ba:?: SUPER BAD TRIP yun ha! Nandoon kami and we witnessed it all. Nasaan ang credibility nga mga HINAYUPAK NA ORGANIZERS na yun? Sorry for my english but I have to let it out! Eh sa kabila pa pala ng OG@G ang mga yun eh! Bakit walang transparency:?: That means no credibility! I hope this will serve as a challenge to you guys, to even perform better! Show then what you've got! We believe! Ciao!
