CSB: Final Four Contenders?

After two seasons of joining the oldest league, will this third season be the time for the Blazers to fire up? Will they choke in the second half again? Will the deadly trio (Lapinid, Salvacion, and Magpayo) bring us to the promise land? As Lasallians would put it, DO YOU BELIEVE?

for csb to reach the final four, they must be able to keep their composure during the end game. the first three defeats they suffered, csb had a chance to win the game. the average losing margin was something like three points. a little more experience should do the trick for the blazers. anyways good luck to the team.

The way I see it, realistically, mahirap maka 1st place pero kung bumaba JRC at UPHR, pwede pa siguro! Hindi naman masarap mangarap diba? Pero I am hoping for them to be on top from the very beginning. Who knows, they might reach 1st place nga pero they should really practice hard to overcome pressure and endgame lapses!

why don't you guys ask Kaboom to make you guys a forum of your own din para we can observe your forum just like the way you're observing ours diba? I don't think naman that it would be nice to make one big forum for UAAP and NCAA.
I think two separate forums would be a nice idea. what do you think? Anyway, i really know very little in terms of the NCAA games, so goodluck to all the NCAA teams!

I am very proud of our players and they are showing maturity as time passes by. They learned their lesson since the NBL pa siguro when they lost the finals slot to MLQU who were fielding gurang players. They need to harness their skills pa and the Benildean community should be more supportive lalo this week kahit finals dahil we are on the verge of taking a crack at the Final Four and the way I see it, hindi naman mahirap talunin UPHR, JRC and San Beda dahil their games against these teams were endgame collapses lang. They should really keep their momentum running until the last buzzer in the second half.

OO nga. I've noticed that also and I've told some of the players that. Sinasabi ko na lang sa kanila na next time we'll get them kasi obvious naman na kaya nila e. I just wish na they see it as support rather than added pressure.
Truth is they don't really feel the support from the CSB community. Sila na mismo nagsasabi na pare-pareho yung nanonood sa kanila sa mga games nila at iilan lang dun yung talagang nagchi-cheer. So I guess it is up to us... to convince others to watch and cheer-on our team.
I really wish that we get one of the top two places. Maski dun sa NBL kaya natin mag-first eh. Di ko lang talaga kung ano nangyari sa kanila nun.

In some degree I agree with your opinion.. pero madami rin ang nagsusupport sa blazers like and my friends.. although we are so busy na because of our thesis ... still we find time to watch them.... minsan nga nde na kami napasok sa ibang subject namin... take notes.. nde kami froshie... so nde required sa amin.. : )

after being down by as much as 15 pts. midway through the second half csb was able to pull a come from behind victory over letran. magsumbol scored 7 pts. all from the line during the final csb rally and castro with an off the glass follow up. magpayo with a split from the stripe with 1 second left after the whole letran bench already conceded the victory to the blazers.

I'm not actually from csb but i've been able to watch the ncaa games more than enough times to observe the obvious lack of school spirit in the actual games... :( I do more standing up and cheering than the rightful csb students...it's sad to note that the few students who bother to go to ninoy stadium (considering it's only a few steps away from lasalle) look bored throughout the game...i think they fail to realize that the crowd factor is one of the most important factors it takes to win a game...and if only all benildeans can come together and really show the ANIMO spirit like it should be...then the first place trophy shouldn't be that hard to reach... :)

The way I see it, kulang pa talaga sa voice ang crowd, nahihirapan din ang Pep Squad sa pag-cheer especially sa harapan nila. Hard to please and i-rev ang supporters pero when I watched the Letran-CSB game, a miracle happened. Everybody was on their feet when Magsumbol went straight to the hoop and finished plus a foul. And they were with us in our cheers, at sana ganun palagi!
It's hard to encourage more Benildeans to watch because of the finals pero we must build more awareness especially for tomorrow's game against UPHR. I'm not saying walang Benildean nanunuod pero watching and cheering are different aspects in the game. The crowd should be within the game to give heart to the players. Thank you sa mga sumusuporta din sa Pep, we try to do our best pero we really need all the help we can get especially sa voice ng cheers, and I think that's were the Benildean crowd comes in. Truth is... nakakatuwa nga ngayon kasi mas marami nanonood na. Last year sa NCRAA... tatlo lang kaming nanonood ng games nila. Minsan umaabot ng 5 o 6. I guess it's because people thought that NCRAA is not a major league. But still... diba dapat sinusuportahan pa rin?

I also think na yung iba nahihirapan mag-cheer kasi may mga kumokontrang katabi. Siguro alam mo nanaman yunng incident with Yeyet, Cris Sta. Brigida and that super old guy. Yung mga ganung incidents nakakawalng gana mag-cheer. Yung iba pang people from CSB e iwas-away naman kaya they prefer to cheer silently.

mangmang>; walang ganyanan...The players and coaching staff of JRC are actually set on winning the NCAA Championship, and I admire their student body for the all-out support that they give their school...kahit nga ang local government dito sa Mandaluyong all out den ang support sa kanila...JRC is considered a state college where I reside...and if JRC and CSB ang maglaban for the championship i'm really going to have a hard time cheering...peace, mayugs :)

It was really annoying yesterday when some "longkatuts" looking girls from "that" pathetic establishment they call a school were saying, "Talo na kayo alis na kayo" while passing by the San Beda side!!!!
