on wearing boots...

just recently purchased a pair of mid-calf (basta sort of halfway between the ankle and knee) 2 1/2 inch heeled boots...my first pair of boots! thing is, i sort of walk funny wearing them! you know that feeling when you're wearing rollerblades, the edges sort of bump against your calves when you're walking?

my question is: is this normal, or am i weird? :glee:

naninibago ka lang. ganyan din ako before eh but i've gotten used to it na.
i wear 3 in. stack-heeled boots to work almost everyday in lieu of loafers.

yup, i agree with purple_madness, you're just getting used to it. i almost always wear boots....i swear by my really scary pointed ones with 3 inch stiletto heels hehehe

Di naman weird eh. Di ka nag-iisa na gustong magsuot ng boots.
I think it's pretty!! Gusto kong bumili pero ang daming kontrabida sa buhay ko. Sabi ng mum ko di ko daw naman laging masusuot kasi madaling mawala sa uso tsaka nakakabaho daw ng paa!! Duh!! Foot powder and proper hygiene naman ang pangontra diyan diba?

Although I love sneakers gusto ko ring magkaroon ng boots. ISang high-heeled boots na gaya ng sayo, leilana. I like the shorter one mga few inches lower than midcalf. Ayoko ng styletto heels (tama ba yung spelling? anyway...) tsaka isang combat boots!! Gusto ko rin yung below the knee (ehehehe!!) Why don't I start collecting different lengths? Hehee!!

You'll get used it. :) I wear boots everyday and I have boots of every length (knee-high, mid-calf, and ankle).. I just love boots!:D Sometimes my feet hurts na from walking but I don't care! Fashion before comfort! :glee: JK!

I love boots (my favourite has to be my ruby red leather ones that come all the way up to my knees - they remind meof Superwoman :D ).. At last count I have six pairs and I love each and every one of them. As for the whole walking strangely in them, like all shoes they take some time to get used to and for you to break them in so the leather moulds to your feet. If you have a problem with the leather around your calves, you might have small calves like me. I took mine to a good Cobbler and had them altered. Voila..perfect fit.

I WAS WEARING THE SAME KIND OF BOOTS LAST NIGHT.I WAS OUT DANCING LIKE MAD AND RUNNING ALL OVER THE PLACE. I EVEN SERIOUSLY CONSIDRED KICKING MY GUY FRIEND WITH IT.

YOU JUST NEED TO GET USED TO 'EM.:) MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COMORTABLE SOCKS, AND CLOTHES THAT YOURE COMFORTABLE WITH, SO YOU DONT FEEL AWKWARD.

BESIDES, EVEN IF YOU FEEL WEIRD- SO LONG AS IT DOESN'T SHOW, AND YOU STILL LOOK GOOD- HAH! CARRY NA YAN!:lol:

How much will you a pay for a pair of leather boots (or any kind of boots like synthetic yada yada)? Chaka .. can someone give me a guide on which type of jeans/slacks/pants go with a mid-calf?
