Any Info on Patrick Madarang?!?

Hi everyone! Sorry if this is so informal. I just came across this UAAP website and I'm so glad. I've been looking for one but it was only this afternoon that I saw one. Anyway, I'm from U.P. and I'm really interested on Patrick Madarang, #4 of the UP Fighting Maroons. I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some info about him, if he has e-mail address and stuff. Thanks!

Patrick Madarang, the UP sharp shooter from Virginia, USA is only starting to make a name for himself in the UAAP. He played for BLU Detergent in the PBL and left on bad terms as he missed a crucial game because he had to attend a team bonding retreat in Tagaytay with his UP buddies. I'm glad he chose his school team commitments over the commercial league.

What I'll do is to ask him to visit this site in the future as he would be the only one to really have the authority to give out his own personal information like his email address, etc.

I can relate with you. If there's one thing that can make me watch a UAAP game come hell or high water, it's knowing that my FAVORITE player will be there slugging it out with the opponent. ;)

I do hope Patrick, as well as the other players, find the time to drop by. If you have the time, why don't you just stalk him at the CMC? If I'm not mistaken, he's taking up Film. ;)

hi ada! thanks for that msg. same goes for me. madarang is the only reason i watch basketball games plus the little reason that i'm taking up cheerleading this sem. well, i might disappoint you but patrick is no longer with cmc. he used to be. i think he took up comm. res. if only he were still in cmc, it must have been very easy to stalk him, i'm from cmc too. (he!he!he! loko lang, i might scare the #4 man away!) my friends and i are really crazy about these players (my friends really like mendoza, bravo, & nunag!). u think we've got a chance to even get to know them? how i hope!!! bye!

Truth be known, I watched because of someone else, but that's history now so let's not get into that. ;)

So Patrick's no longer with CMC eh? Too bad he didn't say what he's taking up now (if that was indeed him who posted). You're from CMC too? Cool, same here. Broadcomm, Batch '98. Bet you're still an undergrad though. :)

When I was at CMC, I used to see Gahol, Gumatay, Mendoza and Madarang. Do you know of other players who are with CMC as well? I hope you and your friends see them regularly. It's always nice to see them up close and not wearing jerseys for a change. ;)

Hi there Ada! Hope it was really #4 Man. It's nice to know that you are from CMC too & that you also came from Broad. I'm taking up broad myself. I'm a sophomore. I've heard that Mendoza is also from CMC majoring in Film. Gumatay, they say is also from CMC but I don't know his major. With regards to Madarang, I believe he is with Fine Arts now, according to Angels. I don't know his major, though. I haven't seen Madarang in civilian clothes yet. I've seen Bravo a while ago but he was wearing basketball shorts. Anyway, UP will have a game tomorrow at Ateneo at 3 in the afternoon. Will you be watching? I will. But I might be late because I still have class til 4. Anyway, it's nice to communicate with a fellow Madarang fan! God bless!

As far as I know, Mendoza, Gumatay and Gahol are all Film majors. I used to see them in CMC but only during registration. I guess most of their classes were still at AS that time.

I don't think I'll be able to watch the UP-FEU game today. :( I wanted to but I had no one to watch with. That's one of the disadvantages when you're already working -- your friends are also busy so they can't accompany you. Oh well, maybe next time. I've already made a deal with a La Sallian officemate of mine that we'd watch the next UP-DLSU game. That's something to look forward to. :)

I was a member of MCO and Christmass. Whattabout you? What are your orgs?

hi ADA! i watched the UP-FEU game, and sad to say :(, we lost. i missed the first half 'coz i still had classes. by the time i arrived, the second half has begun and FEU was leading by 13 points and in the end, they led by something like 20 points. but never mind, according to a friend, MADARANG played well in the first half! (he didn't play during the second half, though!) my crazy friends and i even waited for the players to get out of the gym. we must have looked crazy. anyway, MADARANG rode w/ ferrer in a black prado. MADARANG even offered two girls who appeared to be his friends a ride. i think they went to shakey's afterwards (the whole team)! am i starting to sound like a stalker? hope not! but all that i can say is that he's got one of the nicest eyes that i've ever seen. killer!

anyway, too bad you were not able to watch the game. next time na lang.

so, u were w/ MCO? i applied last sem but i deferred 'coz i couldn't keep up with the tambay. i was doing many things at that time. as of the moment, i've got no org yet.

he used to be a model in some sort of product or fashion show. haven't seen him lately.... (the last time I saw him was noong isang araw) di naman kami masyadong nag-usap. biniro lang niya ako abt. Cy Baguio.

hi! i posted a topic on madarang a few months ago. i dunno if it's still here. i'll try to tell you what i know, anyway.

he studied in the states in high school. he played basketball there too and i think he won the MVP award. he's the nephew of Nic Jorge, the coach of the UP men's basketball team. he was under the college of mass communication before but he shifted to fine arts with visual communication as his major. i don't know if he's still with fine arts, though. according to the angels, he played for dazz (or was it for blu? i'm not sure, huh?!), a pbl team, for some time but he had some problems when he chose to attend a bonding session with his Maroons teammates over an important game. he was one of the models for samaskom's (a up college of mass communication-based organization) strip party. he modeled a pair of levi's jeans. i don't know if he has a girlfriend but my friends saw him with a girl from masscomm in a recent side a concert in up.

actually, pat's at Bacolod right now playing at UNIGAMES. he'll be back on Sat. pa, Oct 31. and right now, he's quite busy with his basketball career. Do pa kami nag-uusap lately, just texting each other lang. la naman siyang nababanggit about girls now adays....
as i remember, meron pa siyang isang year before mag-graduate.
and, he's not snabero. skulboy nga lagi ang get-up niya eh.... pag-smile ka sa kanya, smile back din naman siya agad. he's really friendly and nice.
