Just drop in at the banks or post offices. They'll charge you a small fee over and above the amount you will need.

I don't think there such a thing as money order in dollars. If you mean a Foreign Demand Draft (FXDD) try the banks.

You can try www.sendmoneyorder.com

I've used their service 4 times already. It's cheap, and you can track your payments. Check their site out.

I'm sending a fee for something to an institution in the US, but they don't take credit cards, so they asked me to pay by Money Order. I've never paid for anything by Money Order in my life!

How do I do it? Where do I go? What do I fill out?

Aaaahhh!!!

Wait... Western Union's wire transfer service is a Money Order service, right?

I'm not really sure coz I haven't done it before pero you go to the post office for these money orders. Say for example, you need to pay $10 dun sa pagdadalhan mo. So you purchase a money order that is worth $10, ibibigay mo name ng pagdadalhan, you pay for the post office fees, then you mail the money order preferably in registered mail.

now that Philpost no longer has dollar International money orders
does anyone know where you can buy a dollar money order and pay in pesos.

You can do it the long way, and it will have the same effect:

1) Use your pesos to buy dollars from somebody;
2) Use the dollars that you bought to buy a dollar draft from any commercial bank.

:imu: try mo sa western union, kung sa ibang bansa mo rin naman ipangbibili,eh di i send mo na lang thru them, pag pick-up ng recipient, nakaconvert na agad kung anong currency man ang gamit nila.

all banks will not sell a money order unless you have an account,
and some banks (Land Bank, Banco de Oro) will not sell a
dollar demand draft even if you have a dollar account unless
there is an invoice.

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this question. Anyway, here goes:

Does anyone know where I can buy an international money order to be sent to someone in the US? I tried PayingFast.com, but they had some problems with my credit card.

Thanks!

Try http://www.bidpay.com

I've been using BidPay for all my Ebay purchases. It's a Western Union money order sent from within the US.

I would say the chances of your cash getting stolen are more than 95% if you send it that way. Why don't you save the postage and give your cash to me instead? ;)

Nope, it's international. I have 2 bidpay MO's coming my way right now (I'm in Manila).

The only problem with BidPay is that it's only good for auction payments.
