I liked my girl best friend before but nothing came out of it. But she knew I liked her at one point in time. One night, while talking about it, I told her that she made me realize that LOVE IS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT APPEARANCES/BEAUTY. This was because I fell in love with her just by having a lot of great conversations with her and getting to know all about her, unlike other girls I courted na in-love ako dahil sa mukha lang. I was hoping to flatter her pero gulat ako! Nagalit siya! Biglang umiyak at sinabi na "thank you for making me feel so much better about myself". Para ko na raw sinabi na panget siya when that wasn't what I meant at all! I

he was my first boyfriend. he was ok...does everything for me and he was faithful the whole time. then he went into hibernation for a month to do some rearranging of sorts with his life, and he didnt even bother to call me on xmas. so of course i was furious...he called before new year to say how much he missed me and stuff. i gave him the cold shoulder and so he asked what's the problem. so i answered...

"wala akong problema, ikaw meron?" sabi nya "wala"
"ahh wala ba...sige punta ka dito sa house, bibigyan kita ng problema. kunin mo na dito mga gamit na binigay mo...split na tayo"

why did i regret that? because i believe it was too harsh...he then became a drunkard and he started smoking after the break-up. sigh

A former bf and I were trying to analyze the cause of our arguments in a civilized manner and one time I got truly peeved because he would start sentences with the phrase "Ang problema sa yo eh... blah blah blah". Instead of me focusing on fixing the problem he encountered with me, I think lalo akong nagalit.

We're still friends. Recently, he asked me what it was about him that drove me nuts. We're fond of each other, but not enough to get back together. This time I was calm enough to say, "Alam mo, hinding hindi ko na ever sasabihin sa taong mahal ko ang words na... ANG PROBLEMA SA YO EH... blah blah blah."

He said, "I see. Siguro kung hindi ko nasabi sa yo noon yun baka tumagal tayo hanggang ngayon." When he said that I felt pretty good.

I answered him that when he asked me to watch a play in Beda with him, which was a requirement in his school. He told me he got two tickets (awww...), assuming I would be able to go with him... I couldn't go kasi my strict father was at home. I still have a curfew... :rolleyes: I should be home then in an hour... :grrr:

Eh pag nagpapasama ako wherever, or if I ask him na mag-meet kami, or go to my house, lagi niya kong sinusunod...

The last time I got into a fight with my boyfriend, I blurted out bad things like how bad I felt about his insensitivity and how much I suffered since he took up Medicine...

I was so hurt and disappointed that I started saying "Baka makapatay ka lang ng pasyente in the furure..." He cried and it made me wish I never said those words. I know how much he hates to study too... But it was his love for Medicine and his desire to help and heal other people that kept him going. He was so hurt because he thought that I think he's stupid and that I think that he won't be a good doctor and stuff like that...

Nevertheless, it hurt me more than it did hurt him... In my wildest of dreams and even in my most cruel thoughts, I can never think about hurting his feelings... much more allow him to doubt about himself... I felt so selfish and so mean. How can I ever take away something that he worked really har for. Sure enough, Medicine set a lot of boundaries to our relationship. We miss out on being together because he has to prepare for something and he has to study... But then, these hurt him just the same.

I wish I never said something as cruel as that...:(
