help!!! ituloy ko ba ang grievance ko?

kasi ganito yun.... yng grading system ng prof namin is
40%- 1st exam
40%- 2nd exam
20%- recitation in class

although we're aroung 30-35 students in this class, almost everyone is called para mag-recite every meeting (this was a 1 1/2 hr class by the way) he doesnt check the attendance ksi if you are called on in class tpos wala ka.. then ayun absent ka na... passing is 50%

so anyway, i got 59/100 sa first test, 1.0 yun. sa 2nd i got 75/100 (dunno kung ano equivalent) sa class participation, i think ok nmn ako i make it a point na magrecite in class pero after midterms mejo madalang nako magrecite (haba ng readings eh! 100+ per meeting! sheesh)

nakuha kong grade is 1.0... isa kong classmate she got 54 sa 1st test, and 75.75 sa 2nd... minsan *** ** sha magrecite... tpos she got 2.5!

may right ba ko mag-grievance? unfair dba?

i assume you're a la salle student... wag kang grievance agad... una, kausapin mo muna yung prof mo kung paano nya na-compute yung grade mo... then kung wala siyang maipakita, then do steps for grievance... naka-enkwentro na din ako ng ganyang prof... wag mong idaan sa dahas... :silly:

it's all a matter of purpose or aim. u already asked the professor about how the grades are computed right? u should've asked or requested to see on how ur grade was computed. I think the professor in DLSU are obliged to show them as oin any other university.

If i was running for DL then i'd sure be there on the first skul day otherwise i'd let it go.

tama... dapat nirequest mo yung computations... di ko nailagay sa unang post yan... trust me, me mga nagdodoctor din sa la salle ng grades... pero ingat ka din, if your prof is an asset or malakas sa admin, makakalusot yan... :silly:

eto pa problema, i think he's planning on getting a service leave (?) nxt term, pero accdg to the dept secretary he's goin back parin sa jan.7 so that's when im planning to ask him for the grades... pero pwede pa *** yun? nde ba mejo late na? kakaasar ****!

i know i deserve a grade of at least 2.0!!! arghhh!

nagd-doctor **** yun noh! known na sha **** for that! helo, may kilala ko from 3.0 na midterm grade to 0.0... kag@guhan ****!

and sad to say asset yung prof na yun :hopeless: i've a feeling madami na nag-grievance dun eh, pero pinalampas nlng ng dept kasi magaling nga sha... in fairness naman, magaling **** yun magturo, g@go *** **** magbigay ng grade...

anyways, sinu ba kayo may plan mag-grievance?? kse kung ikaw lang, mahirap... basing from your posts, mukhang no strong claim ka to support your reason for filing the grievance... *** din, it could backfire on you kse malalaman ng teacher mo yan then baka paginitan ka... remember, di sure thing na marereprimand teacher mo once you filed for grievance... and true, pag malakas sa department chair yung teacher minsan walang silbi grievance eh...

if i were you, maghatak ka ng classmates... go take your classmates' signatures then make your story more convincing... yung tipong aping-api talga... hehehe... trust me, yung block namin ganun ginawa then after that, untouchable na kme nung teacher (like bawal na shang handle yung class namin in any subject, bawal maging panelist...) pero un nga lang, iniirap-irapan kme... hehhehe... infamous tuloy kme sa dept!!!!! hehehe

hmmph :disgust: sa totoo *** parang *** **** mangyayari kung i-push through ko yung grievance na yan :shakehead:.. yung iba ko kcng classm8s ok na sa knla grades nila.. kaya lamu yun, pwedeng nde na- i-grievance... pero ill ask my frnds kung they'll sign my petition or whatever...kung marami kme **** i22loy ko...

but wait. di bah tapos na 2nd term?!? i mean di ba useless na grievance pag labas na course cards?!? di na macha-change grade mo, baka paginitan ka pa the next tym maging teacher mo ulit yun... if i were you, let it pass... madaming teachers na ganyan sa lasal... buti nga 50% lang passing nyo... kme before yung mga law subjs namin madyo weird din grading system tapos 70% passing pa... you can do nothin bout the grading system na... sana if you weren't satisfied with your grade, you asked your teacher to explain bakit ganun nung course card ditribution...

actually i read the handbook (o dba determined **** ko :lol: ) sbi you can submit a complaint not later than two weeks of the subsequent term...

chka i dont think magiging prof ko ulit yun... international law *** tinuturo nya, hinihiram *** ng IS dept yun eh... hay! sabihin ko na kaya name nya? hehe sha lang **** ang nagtuturo nun eh! the infamous dr. alfredo robles... :disgust:

di ko sure kung kailan ang change of grades fro non-graduating students e... i think it' 10 yata so pwede pa... sa graduating kasi sa 3 e... kaso di NA NAMAN ako gagraduate!!! bad trip!!! syempre produkto ng palakasan e... kaso hindi kami yung malakas e, yung iba... :silly:

i agree with one of the previous messages... your basis is too weak to file a grievance
