what is it to practice corporate law? a corporate lawyer doesn't just have to know the corporation code. a corporate lawyer will handle issues pertaining to contract law, labor law, intellectual property law, securities law. such a lawyer will be brokering transactions involving millions of dollars (the better ones at least). corporate practice isn't really boring. in fact, it's more life threatening than criminal law practice. for instance, if erap gets acquitted, i don't think anyone will be mad enough to kill rene saguisag. but if a multi-million dollar gets voided because a corporate lawyer forgot to incorporate the elements of the bulk sales law, that lawyer will be found lying on the streets with stab wounds!!
