Are there any people from Jakarta International School out there? I lived in Jakarta for almost 8 years and I have fond memories of both campuses in Cilandak & Pattimura. :)

i did not go to Jakarta International School but i know a couple of ppl who went there for high school..they're very smart..one went to georgetown the other went to cornell. it's arguably the best international school in southeast asia.

ey chuckie what year did u graduate from JIS? I lived in jkt for lke 12 yrs and i knew quite a few peeps from your school. I graduated from BIS in 98.

J.I.S. is definitely a terrific school! I may be biased, but I always thought it beat the other I.S. schools in the region in terms of academics, facilities, the campus, etc. I was part of the IASAS team for Model United Nations for my high school here (Brent), and the J.I.S. kids definitely were the most intelligent and articulate. (I'm supposed to be batch '96, but I ended up goin to Brent Intl. School here for high school.) Although I have great Brent memories, they still don't compare to my good 'ol J.I.S. days :)

Yup I know Suki! We used to be pretty good friends until we lost touch... Wow, can't believe you're friends with him too!

Hey Angelicious! Thanks for the info, I'll go and register my name. I heard about the huge JIS reunion coming up... can't wait to see how everyone's doing! :)
