Which is better:CAMIGUIN or GUIMARAS?

Guys, my friends and I are planning to have a vacation but we don't know which is better..GUIMARAS OR CAMIGUIN?

Anyway, to those who have some good suggestions about this matter..

hi p3nguin di pa ako nakapunta sa Camiguin so di ko sila ma-compare ..... pero promote ko ang GUIMARAS ...... para makadaan kayo sa Iloilo .....

When going o Iloilo? Which is much preferred? Plane of Boat?:)

I haven't been to guimaras, but i've been to camiguin. i really fell in love with the place... i even wanted to move there! (if only they had cable and internet!!!)

but with what's happened now, i guess vacationing there is out of the question.

coming from where? if you're coming from the northern area, id suggest you travel by plane.

guimaras. i've been to camiguin lately and sad to say it wasn't the place i used to love! masyado na siyang naging tourist spot!

Both places are really nice although Camiguin is a little more "Lonely Planetish" because of its distance from the closest urban center which is Cagayan de Oro. Guimaras, on the other hand, is comfortably close to Iloilo so in a sense, the "getting-away" feeling of adventure is less pronounced, as far as I'm concerned. Also, if you're into mountaineering, Camiguin is more appropriate. However, it's been ravaged recently by flashfloods, so it's one big cemetery!

depende sa panahon .... pag ngayong(Oct-Dec) ma-alon mag plane ka, pag-summer naman mas okey mag Boat ka mas masaya manood ng isda sa dagat .....
