Libis, Malate, Timog or Ortigas?

Where do you usually go, Libis, Malate, Timog or Ortigas?

I've been to Malate so many times. I've been to Libis, Timog and Ortigas though.

Where's the best place for you?

San kayo madalas uminom ng barkada? Kumain?

Anywhere where there's food, I'm willing to go! I don't really like Malate that much...Ortigas? What's there to go to, 'cept Madison Square and the little restaurants lining Ortigas center (which usually close early, sans Starbucks and Struan & Tang).
Prolly Libis or Timog. The problem is, parking sucks!!!

hey...u missed out on the Makati area (Fort & Rckwell)...well, i like goin to Rockwell and Timog (coz there's lots of good restaurants).

Yeah, you missed out Makati! I'd prefer that over Libis (puro bagets), Malate (it's so dead now), Timog (same old, same old) and Ortigas (okay lang...).

Saan masarap uminom? Sa house ng friend ko. :) We just buy drinks and bring them over to her place. No worries about parking or trying to get home...diretsong bagsak sa couch when you've had too much. :glee:

Yup, Verve room is open again but it will now be called just "Verve".
The long bar was cut in half to accomodate two bars for each corner of Verve. The old dj booth became a stage for bands like Spy & Indio Eye
and other bands and jammers.
A new Dj booth was installed near the giant mirror at the opposite side of the room. The Dj booth is bigger, cleaner, and can accommodate a lot of electronica stuff like electribes, 808's, keyboards aside from the turntables mixer and cdjs. the entire Verve looks cleaner and better! new tables and chairs, the center of the room has been elevated and lined with steel trusses inside to prevent the floor from bending. Remember the rowdy jumping crowd before used to scare the hell out of Episode customers below. The floors, the airconditioning, the furniture, the bars, the dj booth, the entrance, the stairs, the overall look is stunning, while still keeping the same charm of the old Verve room. The staff and crew still remains the same. Jaime, Benjie, Patrick are still there, hopefully HANK, will follow. The Djs Houseboy, Patch, Spoonman, Monk, will still be there and so will other guest Djs too like Erwin Edralin, Neo, Trinity, Harmonica, Edge, Cocoy Puyat, & Toti D. So expect more cutting edge music like, funky house, tech-house, deep house, techno, trip-hop, drum & bass, ambient, leftfield & experimental stuff. So do drop by and tell everyone!
