Where should I go...?

Need some help... It may sound weird but I've been planning to go on an out-of-town trip for my birthday alone ... you know, feeling lonely planet adventure:) Matagal ko na gustong gawin pero I haven't been able to go through with it, because of school, etc. But this year, mukang pwedeng-pwede na... Thing is though, I don't know where to go! So help naman, give me some suggestions... Basta somewhere outside Manila - na pwedeng i-bus or something. I don't plan on driving. Thanks!

depends on how much time and budget do you have.. but:

.: baguio - everythings around the main road, nice to visit flower and strawberry farms. some heritage villages.
.: vigan - nice old houses, churches, beaches, and a light house (ilocos norte-sur)
.: tagaytay - i dunno what you can do there alone.
.: bicol - visit the volcano.
.: cebu or davao are just an hour of plane ride away.
.: boracay - who knows?

go to national bookstore, check out books such as day tour, luzon by car. or find a list of local fiestas.
