Uso pa Ba ang HighLights?

Hi! I'm planning to have my hair colored. Uso pa ba ang highlights? If not, ano ba ang uso ngayon? Medyo maputi ako. I hope you guys can help me. :)

I've been dyeing my hair for several years now but I've never gotten highlights, hindi ko lang trip, I usually go for just one bold solid color but once I had these streaks -- a b!itch to maintain.

Anyway I don't think highlights will ever go out of style since primarily they are used to bring out texture in hair or depending on their placement, even to accent or downplay facial features. Just take note that because we all have different skin tones, face shapes, hair texture, etc, we can't all go around with the same style of highlights. If you go to a really good stylist he/she will be able to know what kind of effect will work best for your facial features and hair cut. Just one piece of advice: don't go for "chunky" or "stripey" highlights unless you are deliberately going for a "tiger" or "Ginger Spice circa 97" look.
