FASHION HELP for a clueless me!

I'm thinking of buying a pantsuit.

My body type .. I'm a bit chubby .. about 135lbs for a 5'4" girl.
My hairlength is up to my chin. I'm a bit morena but getting bit fair now kasi I don't stay out in the sun that much.

I need a pantsuit that's really fashion-flexible, versatile and fits my body type as well as my skin tone. What fabric is best?

Any recommendations? Like if I'm just buying one pair, what's the best shade?

Definitely black, in a matte (non-shiny) fabric. Black suits almost all Asians and people with deep coloring. Choose a cut with vertical lines to make you look slimmer and taller. Vertical pinstripes are optional.

is this your first pant suit?

if it is, i suggest buying a black, single breasted ensemble..also a dark grey almost charcoal color is good.... stick with clean and classic lines. and please, if you can, go to a tailor go to one. don't buy your suits off the rack. Matte is good and no stretchy fabrics either. Get something that fits well and u dont have suck it in or look frumpy in :p

It's quite expensive kasi if I go pa sa tailor .. I live in Sydney. I'm thinking of buying off the rack na lang. But it's quite scary dahil this will be my first piece EVER.

I'm leaving for Manila next Friday .. any recoms on where to buy? Budget .. mga 2-5thou. The cheaper shempre the better but not at the expense of COMFORT , QUALITY and FIT.

it's in navy pinstripes actually...that's another very classic suit.

oh yah...if you work in a very conservative industry such as banking and finance, it is looked down upon to wear pant suits to interviews. They prefer skirt suits.

Would it be possible to buy pantsuits that would suit any kind of weather or dapat iba? Kasi it's starting to get hot na dito .. summer namin pag Xmas holidays. Weird noh? Baliktad ang weather. Tas around summer sa Phils., autumn going to winter na. I work sa city and it gets really cold there pag winter. Eh mainit pag summer. Gets?
