I think you just go straight to South superhighway then take the last exit which goes to Calamba, Pagsanjan etc. Then just go straight until you reach the the gas station on your right (Shell ata), you'll see a tall building right beside it with 7-11 and Wendy's at the bottom floor. Anyway, you're going to turn right when you see the gas station. And then, go straight down. You will pass by through so many resorts. Then go straight farther. Well, I don't really have a landmark to tell you since the last time I was there was 1997 but you should be able to see it since Paete is known for wood-working place. Hope it helps and hope you get there safe. :)

Ay baka late na ako... baka you made your trip already...
Anyway, habol na rin...
There's this route that we take going to Paete that passes through the Rizal province. You just follow the main road that takes you through Antipolo, Teresa, Morong, and Tanay and then snakes through the hillsides until you reach Pakil. When you get to Pakil, you can probably just follow the jeepneys going to Paete, which is the next town.
I'm sure you'll find your way if ever, it's not really hard.
Like me, I was with someone the first time I went there, but I made my way back alone the second time. :)

If you live in QC this is the best route. Ang ganda pa nang view from the hills overlooking Laguna de bay. The traffic is bad only in the antipolo area pero after that ay di masyadong traffic.
Hilig namin mag-bike from morong to pakil and back. I think its around 80 k round trip. ang sarap pa nung pancit sa bandang Pakil.!!!

Depending on how fast you drive (if you're driving) pero siguro
average 2 hours if you take the Rizal route with normal traffic. :)
You should try that route, it's really relaxing and the view of the
Laguna Lake is absolutely pleasant. *okay*
Pasalubong namin ah! (Joke!) :D
