just want to ask if anyone here knows any players from JRU, andun pa ba yung kambal??? ok ba silang maglaro? sino ba ang ace ng Heavy bombers?

Ernani Epondulan is undoubtedly one of JRU's best players, having gotten the MVP award for the 77th season.

Ariel Capus, Rendell dela Rea, Victorino Lazaro II, Jody Valeña, and team skipper Nathaniel Gregorio, along with Nani, are graduating this year after their five-year playing term. Magagaling din sila in their own right. Ariel is one good clutch player, Rendell is unstoppable in the three-point area, Lazaro is the team's spark plug, Jody is a veteran ball-handler, and Nat provides their leadership and direction.

Kahit hindi nila nakuha ang championship, I still admire them for not giving up the good fight.

Does that mean hindi sila magaling? The answer is no. Admittedly, the Stags have caught the Heavy Bombers on an off day. It isn't their fault that championship jitters caught up with them in spite of leading the whole elimination round. That happens to any player or any team naman eh. And that is sports life.

I beg to disagree.

The Heavy Bombers' games may have been final quarter explosions which looked like possible tsambas, but it just goes to show how good clutch players they have in the team. Almost all of them have composure in the endgame. What killed them in Game Three of the NCAA championship was the jitters - which was explainable, since not all of them have experienced being in a championship series for a long time.

But that doesn't belie their talent and skill. The Heavy Bombers, despite the exit of key players in the coming season, will continue to be a thorn to the other seven teams in the NCAA.
