i've tried it.... 1 week lang? hmmm... ako I used it for 1 week then I had to stop muna kasi I got sick...i had the flu kasi my immune system went down...kasi naman I hardly ate anything. I lost about 4 lbs in 1 week. When I got better, I used it again and lost about 10-15 lbs.

Is it effective? Only if you intend to use it all your life, in that case you put your liver and other organs in danger. Well, for some people it's effective pero most probably you will gain back everything plus a few pounds more.

If you're planning to use it for just one week...I say forget it!

As for the side effects...I got sick, headaches, dry mouth. oo nga pala, I've gained everything back...so it wasn't worth it!

forgot to mention....

isa pang side effect...after taking the pills ( the one before lunch), I feel soooooooo happy...as in HAPPY! kahit walang reason....but after it wears off...I get severely depressed! Talk about an emotional roller coaster ride!

I took it for 10 long months and just lost mga 15 punds. And in the process, I was so stoned and I had palpitations, I found it impossible to concentrate, I was on such a high ... I had to drop out of med school because of that. I went on a hiatus and then entered a new med school the next schoolyear. Now I am in second year, dapat third year na. That's my biggest regret in life. I screwed up my position in the Philippines' best med school in exchange for a few pounds. Don't do it. It's not worth it.

And by the way, when I went off it, I gained all the pounds I lost. Plus 20 more.

:(

Try na lang the other diets available. Bangkok pills r not worth it. Take it from me.

a friend of mine gave the infamous pills a try and though she did shed a few pounds, went from 140 lbs to 120, she gained them back after a mere month of being off them. I've heard of cases where the pill-happy lost as much as 30, 40 lbs through starvation, made possible by the appetite-suppressant. Among the much talked about side effects is the risk of hallucinations, paranoia and even death, which explains why the government has banned the product.
There have been talks about bangkok pills incorporating the same chemicals that make for shabu, and while i cannot dispel or sustain the myth, i can say that whatever these pills do to the body to render it 'thinner', is also true for the drug.
Why people insist on taking the easy way out of things is beyond me. An acquaintance of mine payed a whopping Php 100,000 to Marie France in the hope of her shape ever resembling the commercial model's on the ad. Let's just say we all went "I told you so" when it was clear she wasn't going to achieve that unless she rethink her diet regime and lifestyle. Not only did she deflate her wallet, but her confidence and hopes were shattered all over.
Perhaps there's some truth to 'bangkok pills! effective pa!' but in the long run, you'll find yourself back to square one.
