Letran Squires: NCAA Champs Jr Division

Letran won against San Beda College, 65-63 OT.... after 14 years (?) although they should have won it last year pa with Ronjay Enrile as the main man!!!

A thrilling overtime win by the Squires gave them the championship after JC Intal accepted that lob pass from a jumpball for the easy layup.

What else does Jay-R Reyes have to prove if he had gotten almost all the awards in the Juniors' Division? Wala na siguro! He really stood out from the rest! Galing din ciempre ng ibang key players like Intal and Balneg.

My congratulations to the whole team. They all did more than the best they could. Much of the credit goes to Coach Jing Ruiz of course and the coaching staff as well.

I heard they are going to Hong Kong to celebrate this victory.
