Most women (me included) are afflicted with the "I've-got-to-havethose-shoes" syndrome. I can't seem to get enough of shoes and sometimes my feet have to suffer for them (I like really high heels). Can you guys share your favorite brands and styles?

i'm not as bad as my mother..she has around 200 and up.
i think i have a good 60 or so. :p
my current faves are my tod's loafers and blahnik mules and slingbacks. The tod's are just so comfy and i can live in them..as for the blahniks, it's so sexy and chic...though it will cause more trips to the podiatrist. I so want these dominatrix shoes from YSL Rive Gauche...trying helplessly to save up for it.

I'd also like to get loafers but I'm kind of short (5'3) and I worry that they won't flatter me. :( I love my snake skin round toe mules and wedge sandals:p I'd love to invest in a pair of boots but the weather here stops me from buying a pair. You think I should still get a pair?

Lila Almario, the boutique at Rockwell? yeah her shoes are great, I think she studied shoe design in Italy. what do you think about the girls who match their shoes and bags. Yung parang mashadong color-coded.

loafers are something that every woman or man should have in their shoe closet..it's classic and very versatile. as for boots, i've always had boots even when i still lived in manila. i think the weather shouldn't be a factor. though real heavy boots are something to avoid in manila weather, i guess. coordinated shoes and bags are not bad...it looks very clean and class, in my opinion. but there are exceptions like black bags....black bags with any color shoes are all right but say chocolate brown or tan bags look kinda awkward with black shoes.

maybe about 50 pairs or so. i also have several pairs which i haven't worn yet, and i bought them sometime ago pa. oh well, a girl can never have enough. :D
i like wearing boots, and girly-girly slip-ons and sandals. janylin has very nice styles, very up-to-date. they're not called "manila blahnik" for nothing. :D and very affordable too. but right now my absolute favorite would be these black slides i bought at naturalizer. i swear, they're the most comfortable footwear i've ever worn.

around 20, i think. i gave some away recently -- the styles were not me anymore.
then i treated myself to two pairs last week - brown naturalizer loafers with heels and yellow green loafers from rustan's last sale.
:D

Yup, I think so, too... but you have to agree that they have great designs. Plus, Alberto Shoes are really durable.
I have a pair of dark tan Alberto sandals, which look like inter-twined tree roots, & I love them. I pair them up with my cream, brown, & olive sundresses.
ako i have 74 pairs....
my fave shoes are my kenneth cole "shiny" shoes, my tommy's and my bass shoes...

do you experiment with colors? or do you usually stick to the safe colors like black and brown? also, do you have shoes with funky prints like zebra stripes?:D

i am a tad conservative with the colors of my shoes especially since i have a preference for "more expensive" brands...i'd like to make the most out of the money i spent so i want to use these shoes with most, if not all my clothes. ..but with styles, i'm very adventurous. my shoes are mostly black and camel.. i have a few pairs of grey flannel, red and blue.

I only have less than 50. Mostly Doc Martens since I love them to death!!!!! and I'm flat footed.
:spinstar: i have 40 pairs of shoes :spinstar:
i have different kinds/colors of shoes for different outfits and occasions. it doesn't have to be very expensive as long as it has the "quality" that i look for in shoes :*)
i have boots, loafers, stilletos, strappy sandals, sneakers, and even cross-training (rubber) shoes. :beauty:
:flower: i just love shoes! :glitter:

Less than 10 pairs!
I love shoes too but when I buy a pair I really like I tend to stick with them for a long time. I've had my John Fluevog boots for 6 years now and I've had the heels replaced and everything.
My shoes are for the most part black, save for sneakers which I get in different colours.
One trend I've noticed in my choice of foot wear over the years is that I always have to have a pair of mary janes.

Rustans has great imported shoe lines. I saw this fab purple pointed toe mules, I had to stop myself from whipping out my credit card :p I'm much more disciplined in my shopping now, I actually list down the stuff that I need and unfortunately, purple shoes aren't there :(

Naku, himura_kaoru, ang hirap naman ng technique mo! Pano kung psychic ka and you're able to envision those purple shoes thus creating a need for them before you've even laid eyes on them! Hehehehe

i have mga 20 something shoes, halos lahat may 2 - 3" heels kasi i'm 5'2 lang ;)
current faves:
- the camel boots i got from mango recently. i was medyo nanghihinayang nga kasi when i went to janylin, i saw a similar pair and it was chepaer by around a thousand than the one i bought.
- the sandals i had made, er, copied sa lila almario. hehe. i fell in love with the pair i saw sa magazine, which i can't afford. so i brought the magazine na lang sa lila. :)
- for school, last sem, i alsmot alwys wore the BCBG camel loafers i got from CMG - spbrang comfy! :)

How much will it cost to have shoes/sandals made in Lila Almario? I have big feet kasi, size 9 - 9 1/2 and there are many styles I want but no sizes for me :(

Hmmm...makes me think...i think i better get myself a pair of loafers din. ano kayang maganda, you guys mentioned lots of complements about that style of shoes.
lila , would it be possible that you attach a pix of your "sobrang comfy" na BCBG camel loafers?
MAgkano sa Lila Almario? dinadaan-daanan ko lang ang janylin, but this time, i'll enter their store na. :D thanks guys for advertising their store. punta na ako!
How about shoes from Celine? grabe sial magsale.
By the way, any advice kung ano ang magagwa ko because most of time i would buy a pair of shoes, comfy while im trying it on, pero when im actually using it, sumasakit either sa heels, or anywheere sa feet ko. :( i end up overusing my rubbershoes and sneakers nalang.

naku, laya, i don't think i can attach a picture of my loafers. but try passing by celine branches kasi last month, i saw a pair pa sa shangri-la :)
i like yung shoes ng celine. ok naman yung quality and they have nice sandals din.
lila almario shoes are not cheap, but the price is worth naman the quality of their footwear. they use nice materials, comfy, saka nice yung styles. prices on the average, P2500. the sandals i had them copy didn't look cheap naman. like i said, they use high quality materials, saka simple lang naman yung style na pina-copy ko :)
laya, try mo to walk around when trying shoes on. :)
