necessity..not really. i only use pantyliners when i'm on the last few days of my period. and pantyliners cause UTI says my doctor, unless you change it often, kase di nya naabsorb ng mabuti kapag wet na, so madaling magbuo ang bacteria which will cause UTI :D

Yeah. That's why they sell it by the bulk I think. I don't know any girl na hindi gumagamit ng panty liner nowadays grabe

It is not like a major necessity for women to use. However, it helps in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, provided that you change regularly. I for one use pantyliners daily coz I hate d feeling of wetness and I don't want to stain my undies.

My OB Gyn advised me to use UNSCENTED pantyliners. I suppose it's the chemical used to scent them that causes UTI.

Same here. I get really uncomfortable when I don't have pantyliners on.

I can't live without pantyliners. I hate getting that icky feeling sometime in the middle of the day when your hormones are raging all over the place. Plus I don't like my cutie undies getting nasty! :p

i do use pantyliners daily. nong wala pang pantyliners dito sa pinas, my panties wont last longer. nabubutas sa gitna and the tendency, i cant wear those panties anymore kahit maganda pa ang shape and i do have expensive panties pa naman (as in P400+ each). so now that there are pantyliners, mas sulit ang gamit sa mga panties ko. and besides, wearing pantyliners make me feel more secure and more comfortable.

I think so.

We, women, would sometimes have an 'unexpected discharge' --- a little to a lot --- EVEN WHEN WE'RE NOT MENSTRUATING & the best way to stay clean & fresh is to wear one.

It's like wearing clean panties all the time.

The problem with pantyliners is that they don't stay in their places. Most of the time, they crumple to the center, and that's irritating. Minsan pa nga, the sticker sticks to your...you know what...and i guess you gals know how it feels.

there are just two options for me. either i change panties often, or i change pantiliners often. i choose the latter. so i wear pantiliners daily, and change depending on my wetness. ;)

i don't know but i'm not experiencing laya's problem. it probably depends on how you place the pantiliner on your panty. :D

i believe that it is a necessity, coz it keeps your undies clean... i noticed that white mens and other secretions stains our under garments, so to keep it clean and stain free use pantyliners it is much cheaper than a new set of undies right?!?!?;)

Pantyliners are a necessity for me. I'd feel so uncomfortable if I don't wear any. I've been using them since high school, maybe even grade school pa nga. I don't feel completely dressed without it. It really helps with that icky everyday wetness. Plus, it helps avoid accidents, lalo na sa first day of the time of the month. May sasalo if you're unprepared. :D

i used to wear pantyliners everyday too....kasi nga, am the type who is always wet.....sheeshhhhh....then again.....i started having irritation/UTI problems....

so ngayon...pag talagang kailangan na lang.......at pag ang pupuntahan ko eh yung places na where i can't really wash (tipong, pa-tissue-tissue lang)

sabi nila, masama raw magsuot ng pantyliners everyday.
I tried once na di magsuot, pero kadiri yung feeling.
And wet-wet ng feeling ko. Since then I never leave the house
w/o wearing it.It's like, ang clean ng pakiramdam mo.

Hmmm...I only wear them when I'm about to have my period, end of my period days and the middle of my cycle...

Personally, I hate the feeling lalo na when it crumples but sometimes it is a necessity to wear them.
