i used to frequent pravda... until the smoke became as bad as ponti. pier1 in the fort would be a better option ...
the caesar's salad in wasabi is the worst vegetable dish i've ever had..

Haven't seen the inside of Wasabi, I just see it when I pass by Makati Ave. :D

Pravda is a haven for college and yuppie people of Makati. I like the DJ's booth! :teehee: :dj:

Pravda is in reposo st., Bel-Air 2 Makati. Wasabi is in Makati Ave. where RJ Jacinto's bar used to be. :D

Is Pravda near N. Garcia ? It's a white building and looks small from the outside, but inside is a little bigger, with a glass wall separating a section in the back (near the bathrooms) ?

Nicanor Garcia st. is formerly Reposo st. and Pravda is along that street, the place is red from the outside that has a sign of Beluga too! I don't think its a white building but the place looks like a house! :D

i go to wasabi once in a while. i love the ambiance but the drinks are not that great. I had friends from the states and they ordered a couple of drinks that had to mixed... they didnt like it and mentioned that that's not the way it was supposed to be made.

pravda is also ok... i go there to hang out and meet old/ new friends.

Here's what I know about Pravda:

Thusday - NBK night with Manolet Dario and his crew manning the turntables. :dj:

Friday - It's Groove Nation's turn to man the decks and educate through music. :walkman2:

Saturday - Flavastreet Entertainment presents Limelight, DJ Robin Mendoza playing anthems from the early 90's to the present plus special guest DJs. :dazzler:

Try www.planetgimmick.com and see if you can find the latest there. You could also try inq7.net of the Daily Inquirer and look up the fashion or lifestyle pages. But nothing beats the idea of being in the scene. Just ask the people who cover such events. ;)

Oh yeah, DJ Steve Mills spins Hip-hop and R&B every Wednesdays in Pravda. :D :dj:

I once went to Pravda with roommates, malapit lang kasi sa apartment.

Ok lang naman, though most customers are models and the elite people.

I think Pravda is being managed by Paolo Trillo.
