Ang saya nga ng LRT infront of the university.

LRT-1--> La Salle, Mapua, Adamson, PWU, Normal, Feati atbp.
LRT-2--> Ateneo, Arellano, Sta. Mesa, UE, San Sebastian, San Beda, FEU atbp.

MRT-4--> UST, UP Diliman, U-Belt, FEU at mga schools sa may Welcome Rotonda
LRT-5--> (Yata!) Don Bosco Mandaluyong

Siraulo ampucha!!!

personally, i like dlsu's campus ... yun nga lang .. di gano ma-appreciate because of the LRT ...

how bout suggesting to put the train underground just like what they did in makati - look yung sa buendia/ayala stations ng mrt. dba? para naman di matakpan ang ganda ng campus natin!

isa pang suggestion - bat hindi ayusin yung overpas - or ilagay sumwer na di matatakpan yung front ng arch - kasi medy sagabal eh - pero ilang na yun dun...newei siguro - underpass nalang din no!?

hay nako nga naman....

i like the idea..
it would be accessible for anyone at anytime, and to think, sa traffic ba naman everyday sa Espana, kelangan na talaga ng LRT!

i dont think na macocover or hindi na makikita yung ganda ng UST just because of the LRT.. open area naman yung harap.. not like sa La Salle, harap pa lang mismo building na kaya alang makita...

I like the idea of the LRT... its cool...

i have voiced out my objection to that proposed idea for so many times already. Tama ka, didilim. Sisikip. Pero after weighing the negatives and positives of the project, oks lang siguro if the plan pushes through since Thomasians will benefit from this. Atsaka, maluwang naman ang España e. And Im sure the B&G will take care of the landscape, so ndi sya gano matatabunan

LRT? i thought its going to be an MRT?whatever!

its just about freakin time!

it is an understatement that going to school in UST is hell if you live anywhere in the North Quezon City area, and its ironic to know that about half of UST's population (students and employees) live in the Quzon City suburbs (methinks that's one reason why FEU Med was moved to Fairview since they were in the same predicament).

anyway, if all you're concerned about is that UST's panorama will get ruined with a high rise MRT infrastructure, try to consider first where the MRT's stops gonna be (for all you know you're getting all worked up for nothing). will they actually build an unloading facility right smack in front of UST? i don't think so. for all the benefits this could bring, i dont think the priests are gonna allow a station to be built in the same block as where UST sits. it will be impossible anyway, you need space on both sides of the street to have a feasible unloading facility. so chances are is that the stops would be either before or after UST. now what i'm hoping they can do is that the MRT tracks can be brought at street level when it passes in front of UST, similar to what they did with a certain section in Edsa (that part leading into White Plaines). that will keep the view from getting obstructed. but IMHO what really needs to be done first is to widen Espana up, because there is no way you can squeeze in the MRT--street level or high rise-- with the current street dimensions now.

fyi lang.

The proposed Line 4(?) of LRT will stretch from Fairview(?) to the D. Jose Station of LRT 1. It will go through Commonwealth Avenue, turn half a round of the Quezon Memorial Circle, go through the length of Quezon Avenue and Espana, and end at LRT 1.

Tama lang sa mga taga-North yun.

1. mas malapit sa North ang UST
2. meron naman PUJ at FJ patungong Buendia dyan, a?
