Ei dr Archers, just wanna hear what you guys have to say about the newly-built Wellness Center in DLSU.

me, i find it rather odd to see a barber shop, massage parlor, etc INSIDE a university... next thing you know, there'll be spas, saunas, videoke bars / KTV, etc. :glee:

...and who will be the first to avail of these services? the Brothers? ...weird

:flamer:

where is this wellness center? is it that bldg near the south gate?

yup, that's the building near the south gate. yung dating pangit na building wherein the RELS peeps stay.. then they renovated it, nasobrahan ata...

neway, TOTOONG may wellness center :p

i-na-advertise na nga nila yung services with their respective prices sa windows ng accounting office nung enrollment.

I think the therapeutic massage is done by blind masseurs and is priced at PHP 250- ... hair cut - PHP 70 ata...

:D would you avail of those services in the near future? Anong say ng Ateneo jan?! :glee:

the masseurs are blind? well, i think it's a good idea to give them jobs so that they can be self-sufficient and not rely on charity. if the proceeds of this "wellness center" go to such good causes, i encourage la sallians to have their haircuts and stuff there na lang. *okay* teka, baka bulag din yung barbero nila? joke :crazytongue:

Sana nga for charitable purposes yung mapaglalagyan ng proceeds nung wellness center... coz La Salle is a non-profit organization diba... sabi yun ng prof namin

i would like to try their therapeutic massage sometime in the future... kaya lang baka kung saang body parts na yung mapisil nila kasi diba they're blind nga, tapos ticklish pa naman ako :glee:

haha! wag naman sanang pati barbero ... patay tayo nyan!

teka... may gym ang La Salle? Saan? Ngayon ko lang nalaman yun ha.

Yehey!

Sansa naman i-expand nila ito into one of those PE ROOMs beside it. Maganda nga raw yung bago nilang gym eh.

Students need a credible gym , not some sweat shop.

Siempre yung Ironworks Club they are also working within their means kasi wala silang subsidy from the admi. Kudos to IRONWORKS CLUB (siempre naging member ako nyan bah!).
