The Referees are to Blame!

The win by the Blazers proved to be frustrating but they did the job, at the expense of inconsistent calls by the referees. Are these the same referees that are provided by BARECOM? I cannot blame the angry Letranites for the calls by the other ref but they never knew that we also have a score to settle with his fellow ref. That was the same ref who gave Benilde inconsistent calls from the other past games. I believe that both refs should be replaced by more competent people.

This case is somehow not knew even to the UAAP so they provided a third referee and is under ABA. I ask that the NCAA Committtee do the same so as to make the calls more clear and precise. Clear judgment counts a lot especially in crucial games.

The Battle could have gone either way. The referees dictated the bad tempo. :down:

Human error is natural but consistent errors in games that lead to such incidents like this one proves that there is something wrong with the officiating refs. Competence is needed. :up:

Don't worry guys...Gomer Rodrigo, that referee who gave the bad calls on Ronjay Enrile in that game, is suspended and will not officiate any upcoming NCAA games anymore.

If you read the letter by the Letran president (?) he mentioned that the officiating has affected the morale of the players. Probably was the reason why Letran lost that next game to PCU. Wawa naman sila...:(

the referee is to be blamed!!!!:mad: that was the same referee the first game of JRU vs CSB. there was no foul called on JRU in the 4th quarter and a minute left nalang when he called a foul on JRU. namimili kasi ang mga referee ewan natin kung ano ang reason!!!;) the Blazers played fair and they did their best but too bad because there's bias!! :evilgrin:

Referees from BARECOM are not doing their jobs this 2002 season. Games turn into ugly free-for-alls between Mapua and Benilde, and the game between PCU and San Beda.

Puro let-go situations ang pinapa-iral nanaman nila! They should be in control of the situation whenever the games become physical and call such contacts between opponents! :down:

Paano aasenso ang NCAA niyan kung BOBO ang mga REFEREES! Inconsistent na nga ibang mga calls nila eh pinapabayaan pa nilang MAGKAGULO pa ang opposing teams!
