Sorry friend it is too small unless you will pair it with a product or service which you are already familiar with or known for.if you are desperately trying to make or break with the 50 K I suggest that you use it to study further your current field of study.

Eto make or break. Boom or bust. Try at your own risk, okay?
Advice lang. Kasi before the "zagu" and "quickly" hit Manila, I already adviced my friend to start it there (kasi nga uso na dito sa amin yun.
There's more to that!) I have a gut feel na palakas pa ng palakas itong "Korean" craze na ito considering that Korean soaps are getting popular outta here and besides ang dami kong nakikitang korean eateries na nagbubukas. I even tried iyong Korean noodles, and I think mag-ki-click yun. Over the past few months, na observe ko itong eatery na ito eh dumami pa ang branches. Now, konting panahon pa, I think marami mag-franchise nito. Sa budget mo, i-suggest alamin mo na lang kung paano lutuin yon para mauna ka and you can hit it big! :)

i've been with this investment company based in las pinas (pero sa subic ako nag-invest) for about a yr now and they're giving me 3% a month. i've been receiving interest every month or if you want every 6 months but just an idea: less than 2 yrs, doble na money mo. *okay*

i know this thing. actually nag invest na ko through my friends. dont really know much details but basically you just have to invest ur money and earn the interest. pwedeng monthly or semiannually; interest being compounded or not. its risky rin kase ull never know if ull get ur principal back. the shorter the term the lesser risk.

this is the problem with filipinos. im not about to bash anybody here, pero the thing with us is, kung ano yung usong i-put-up yun ang ginagawa. filipinos have money, the trouble is, we dont know where what to do with it, what business to start.
ill give you some examples. in the 80s, all corners had a lechong manok stand. daming independently owned. kung lahat tayo merong tindahan, eh sino pa bibili sa atin? then there was sharwarma, lahat ng tao merong money, nagtago ng
shawarma-han. sa province, every other house, sari-sari store. tapos, lahat ng kotse, ginawang taxi. do you guys get me? i dont know what the usong thing is now dyan, pero if we saturate the metropolis of something, lahat tayo bangkarote.
textbook economics, folks.

i agree with tazbivr, Php 50,000 is too small for any business. keep it in the bank, save up some more, pag malaki-laki na, well talk. wag kang papadala dun sa mga taong, "sure ball to, dito natin palaguin ang pera mo.". thats the surest way to go bankrupt. remember, theres no shortcut to earn money. you have to work hard for every peso.
sige na nga ill indulge. if you really want to put up a business, youd need to borrow money. you need a bigger capital than Php 50k. make sure its an accredited institution, watch out the interest rates. you need cash flow, cash flow is literally the flow of cash. money coming in, money going out. you also need a good accountant. one of my business partners is a cpa here in california, pero i insisted on out sourcing. start with a vision, with a mission statement. with a goal, not just a goal, but steps on how to achieve you goals. my dad is a banker, and according to him, only 2 out of 10 people who apply for business loans get approved. those who come prepared, with a mission statement, with a business plan/model, gets to borrow money. were just getting started here. but ive to go, im starved ill continue this tomorrow.
barring any tragedy, you may also put your money in stocks. WAIT, before mag react yung mga market investors dyan, PUT IT IN BLUE CHIP STOCKS, then forget about it. with blue chips i meant, jollibee or san mig, the bigger names, not yung mga mining mining company na, mag sasara na pala next month. watch out. if you dont know the stock market, dont invest.

"don't risk anything, you gain nothing."
kahit ano pang type ng investment ang pag-usapan natin, lahat yan may risk. if the bank can give us a low interest, but stock market does, for me, that margin is called "risk".
i would say yung mga long term na investments ang "sure" like mutual funds.
for me, once you invested in something, you just have to know kung saan mapupunta yung pera mo. mahirap kumita ng mullah! no!

50K is small investment you should expect small gains. Fishball and Kikiam business is best fitted with that budget.

i started with 3k investment in 96 for my doter (instead of getting her an educational plan). in 2001 said investment stood at 63k. i started the same investment in July 2001 for my second doter, this time at 5k. i also invest some of the proceeds of my eldest doter's by buying companies that are generous to their stockholders. Sorry but i dont believe na kapag blue chips safe na investment for long term. but that's another topic. what i mean generous na company is that they give cash/stock dividends continuosly sa mga investors nila. JFC, San Miguel does so as well as the Ayala Stocks But they are market movers, meaning they are vulnerable with the market swings (up & down). I don't invest sa kanila for long term (i prefer short term if i wanna ride with them, why invest long term if u can profit short term *smile*). Instead i invest in companies that are not sensitive, the likes of CEU (Centro Escolar U) and MB (Manila Bulletin). These stocks ignores the market wheter up or down. They r not that usual gem in the stock market and sometimes spreads on the buy/sell side ay malaki. Minsan wala silang transaction for the day. In short they are not active stocks. Meaning yung nag iinvest talaga for kanila has a long term horizon.
Maraming investment sa 50k. Yung 5k na ginamit ko sa 2nd doter ko was to purchase prepaid cellcards. roll mo lang nang roll.
Goodluck and be well.
