possibly. if you have posted your number on the net or has given your number to a common friend, then it may be possible for the clueless person to find out who you are.

By default prepaid-based phone numbers are anonymous unless you did the following things.
Registered your number with your telco (i.e. GenTXT membership)
Your number's published on the Net
The person had access to people you know
By default postpaid-based phone numbers are known to the telcos through the monthly phonebill.

If someone really wanted to know the info of a postpaid subscriber, they could break into the cellular company's database... or they could bribe their technical people handling it...

Wow! You went through all 2.5 million names and numbers on the web? :wow: How long did it take you? I would not even bother with the 780,000 in the PLDT White Pages for landlines. Hmmm .... :rotflmao:

Yes, If you have a friend who works in a telecoms company and you want to spy on someone. All they need to do is key-in your number in their database and voila! your name, address, monthly bills and the numbers you are calling and texting appears on the screen.

for post paid, very possible...
for pre-paid, possible, but can only be done thru profiling...
if you know someone who works for the telcos... you can ask for the name, the address and all other info that goes with your application... take note, this is first hand info. both for globe and smart...
