i do have to agree.. not to mean anything, but i was not contented with what they have prepared. although i know that they have really spent some time preparing it, i'm just not moved on the way they try to welcome and open the games. :(

o well, let's just don't mind sch and focus our attention on the games... ;)

In a nutshell, I didn't like it. Some parts seemed to drag on and on, when they could've shortened them (like the swordfights and the guy in the silver cape).

I don't understand their theme. What's with the basketballs?

Their performance didn't look as well prepared for as UP and UST's opening numbers.

Anyway, just my humble opinion.

the presentation... i didn't like it... boring kaya! sorry sa mga taga-feu ha pero yun talaga ang na-feel ko eh! di ko pa gusto yung theme na naisip nila... mejo corny eh... tsaka yung girl na kumakanta naewan... nakakainis sha ha! nung ishu-shoot ni ren-ren yung bola dun sa lumilipad na ring at di nya na-shoot eh mag-comment ba naman daw na "akala ko ba magaling kayo!"... hmmmp! yung ibang captain ball eh di naman niya ginanon! eniweis... congrats sa UP! galing nila! hehe!

gudlak na lang sa team namin... GO for 4-peat!!!

feeling ko rude nga *** "akala ko magagaling kayo" na comment. sana di nalang nya sinabi yun. saka parang pilit *** kanta or something.

and ang weird, sa bagay biased siguro sila, syempre in-allow na maka shoot si FEU captain while *** iba hindeh...
(na-corny-han tlaga ako dun)

saka mukhang hindi rin bagay *** suot ng girl dun. futuristic na ewan...sana nag sporty look na lang sya......

FEU's presentation wasn't so fascinating. siguro masyado lang akong nag-expect because of the superb presentations of the past schools (UP & UST). although i must admit, it's really hard to organize a big scale presentation like that.

On the half-time presentation of Adamson naman, wala lang, nakakainis! well, i guess that was what they were intending to do kanina kaya sige na nga pagbigyan. :)

da besht pa rin presentation ng UP Pep squad! :)

im sorry to the feu guys, but the presentation was way way below expectations. boring, baduy, bakya, dragging.
considering na ang press release eh pang olympics daw ang palabas.
sabihin nang corny ang sa uste last year kasi may jubilee jubilee pa, eh mas well prepared, mas masaya, mas coordinated naman yun. mas magagaling pa yung kumanta at sumayaw.

but, but, i do like the confetti part. yun lang ang maganda.

SAKSAKAN...SAKSAKAN NG BADUY AS IN WALA NANG BABADUY PA SA NAPANUOD KO SA UAAP OPENING ...wats wid d gurl?? sobra naman parang sya yung naging BIDA nung opening...parang concert nya yung nangyari eh... tapos ang labo nung theme... di mo alam kung evolution ng kung ano.. may fighting scenes pa eh...tapos biglang ihirit nung babae na.. "ilabas ang bola..at mag volleyball.." leche...ano ba yan FEU... SAYANG ...i mean..u cld have done it much better...magaling naman yung dancers eh.... tapos may mga golden balls pa kanina na palipad lipad...anlabo talaga... soree FEU... =( mas magaling talaga yung UST last yr.. =)

Graduate ako ng FEU at masakit man aminin pero tingin ko rin ay medyo magulo ang presentation nila pero siguro naman ay pinaghirapan nila yun kahit na papano.

Yung sa halftime naman ng Adamson ay sabi ng commentator ay meron daw naaksidente sa pep squad nila at dinala sa ospital kaya medyo nagkagulo.

Buti na lang at nanalo kami kanina at kahit na papano ay naging pampalubag loob.

karumaldumal nga! well, may isang lalaki lang naman na nagdisplay ng kanyang bod sa buong coliseum. he was wearing leotards and tights na skin-toned na medyo lawlaw. sana man lang nagsuot siya ng supporter or something para alam niyo na... hehe! sabi ng mga tao sa likod ko para daw siyang butete. naka-bonnet pa pala siya na same color. :D

sorry feu , pero i think tama *** sinabi nila, muka nga shang pinaghirapan, pero ang gulo ng theme and they shoud have chosen another performer rather than that rude girl. they could have done better!!:p

hindi ko gusto yung opening. ang corny nung may palipad-lipad pa. tapos yung mga mascots...parang sa nba jam extreme na nakaenable yung bighead and bigfeet modes. hirap na hirap tuloy maglakad yung mga mascots.

i see the effort they've put in the opening presentation. parang malabo nga lang yung theme. parang crouching tiger-inspired yung palipad-lipad na yun :D

and who's that girl again? di ko din sya feel :D

i beg to disagree sa sinabi mong ...walang theme...
meron naman. if i heard it right, it was "sama-samang harapin ang pagsubok". i'm not really trying to put down the people who have organized and prepared for it but, i really cannot see what "Sama-samang harapin ang pagsubok" in the presentation.

in addition, i would like to ask a question, what's the purpose of the mascots moving around the girl in the intro? hey, m not being sarcastic here or what, i'm just askin.

although, i really would like to commend the idea . please take note, idea lang of the harness thinggie (tama ba spelling ko? i stand corrected if its wrong). i think they could have used such luxury in a more creative manner.

wala na akong masabi... like what my friends say, GUD LAK na lang sa inyo...

honestly, i found the entire opening thing boring and boring... buti na lang di kami nanood. For the FEU guys, there would be tons of hosting jobs. We hope you redeem yourselves soon... The presentation was like a presentation for a variety show... not a UAAP opening.

i saw how UST did it last year, ang galing!!!

three months lang? hmmm, kaya pala... usually, for a good opening ceremony, it takes at least six months to prepare...

yung girl is yung nanalo DAW sa isang singing contest either sa Ch2 of Ch7. Tsaka, ang pinag-uusapan dito yung PRESENTATION at hinde, repeat HINDE, basketball. I know we have a weaker team no!
Dapat ang title nung presentation is nde UAAP 64 Opening Ceremonies e, dapat, MY DEBUT CONCERT ...

Ang panget talga ng presentation, but in fairness to FEU, ang panget talga. hahahaha

wala akong masabi, nalait niyo pala ng husto yung presentation nila e, pero in fairness, pinaghirapan din naman nila yon, yun nga lang, it did not live up to our expectations... tapos, yung basketball goal na hinahawakan nung taong naka-suspend, really done in bad taste... buti na lang hindi tinuloy ni Javi Nunag yung pagbato sa taong yon :), sama din ng comment kay Ren Ren... natuwa lang ako sa sapatos ng mascot :) ang cute! pero yun lang.

yung halftime ng Adamson, i think nagkakagulo yung mga tao dahil dun sa pep na walang lakas ng loob maghubad talaga, kung yung purpose naman niya ay gayahin si Oble, tapos naka-body stockings nga siya, pero lawlaw naman! ano ba yan! :grinroll:
naawa ako sa na-injure na pep ng Adamson, wala man lang tumulong sa kanya... kahit yung mga ibang pep, hindi siya tinulungan. sana man lang yung ibang kasama niya tinulungan siya.

about the girl na parang host nila...nanalo raw yun sa metropop (channel 7 contest) according to my blockmate.

kuya clawed_out : yep...nanood ako noh! and sige, hi kita sa iyong beloved sister. :) mmm...di ko alam kung sinong mas sikat kena carlos at felix eh...pareho lang ata silang di sikat...hihihi...:D

The UAAP opening presentation this year suck. And it sucks BIG TIME. I don't think FEU has exerted a lot of effort to put on this show. The choreography was not even well maintained.

Mas maganda pa din yung last year.

can I just say . . . someone should've hit the person wearing the basketball hoop and the girl who sang on their faces with the basketball! It would've been relatively acceptable had it not been for that part! The role of a host school is to unite/welcome all the participating universities hindi to make their school come out as the "best"! I don't see the point of that part at all! Someone even told me n cnabihan daw nung girl c ren ren ritualo ng "akala ko ba magaling ka?" when he failed to shoot the basketball dun sa flying hoop na yun!

UST's opening was much, much, much better than this one!

i believe that the opening presentation of ust last season was better than that of feu.honestly, i almost got to sleep.but anyway, congratulations feu for exerting some effort. the uaap opening was biased.dapat sana naging fair sila.

nun sinabi nun girl na "kala ko ba magagaling kayo", para nya na rin inamin na naniniwala sila na magaling talaga ang la salle.

Hey hey, no offense to FEU...but the opening was really a bummer. It's like watching a dance segment from Eat Bulaga and the like. Grabe talaga...!

But it's ok...me and my friends had a great laugh about the opening!!! Tawa kami ng tawa nonstop for a good 5 mins or so. :)

okay sana yung "flying stunts" nila pero boring na kasi masyadong mahaba. eh espadahan lang sila ng espadahan dun sa ere.

eniweis, other than that, they did pretty well naman..

pero nothing compares to last year's opening .
