Po Na Na experience

:drinker: Did you know that Po Na Na is actually 3 words, meaning, "this is life". The place is really cool and packed every weekend (or at least everytime I go there). How do you guys find it?? If you haven't been there, you're really missing out man!

My experience in po na na was great, that is before I hit rock bottom after taking that ekis pill. lol! I'll try to visit again and just drink and smoke! :smokin: :walkman2:

Po Na Na is one of my fave hang-outs as of the moment. I've been hooked ever since its opening night, it took some heavy name-dropping to get in, given the place was packed and there was, aside from a dress code ( white and disco outfit ) a very narrow guest list, but boy once we were able to sit and take in the scene, my friends and i nodded a huge sign of approval. The place has another feel. Not to mention that hunky Hans Montenegro sometimes bar tends. All the more to stand up, ignore the waiter and order right at the bar ;)
I'm definitely gonna be there tomorrow, who cares if it rains!

Were you guys there the night before the elections when they had a liquor ban at 12MN? at 11, the dj goes, "ok, last call for alcohol!" and EVERYONE went :whatthe:nuts ordering left and right!!! I got all drunk!!! :dance:

i WAS there inspite of the liquor ban. For the first time in my nightlife span, i hauled my butt over there at 10pm, knowing after 12, the place would start losing people. And it did! Suddenly there were more of us outside in the parking lot than there were inside. But my friends and i bribed some acquaintaces and got alcohol anyway. I was so wasted .. and did you notice the selling of chemicals ( 'E' in particular ) took an astonishing upward revenue turn? LoL. I eventually woke up with the nastiest of hangovers, in a hotel room nonetheless, since i couldn't drive. Don't worry, nobody was beside me! As it turns out, three of us checked in instead of braving the streets in our condition. LoL.

Really? E? I didn't realize it! I guess I wasn't being too observant! How do you know how to get it? Did this all happen in the parking lot? :sprung:

is E still in? i thought it was so out already. i heard ppl are so much into the 80's thing that coke is making a comeback in the manila party scene(heard from my party-happy manila friends). I also heard at a particular bar in libis and one in makati, ppl were snorting up some blow in one of the dark corners. tsk tsk tsk. hope this doesn't become the "in" thing all over again and spills into the mainstream.

Okay, there are so many things that popped out in Phils when I left. And I have ZERO knowledge about the hottest clubs/discos na....Po Na Na sounds nice....where is it exactly? Care to help an outdated PEXer here? Hehehehe.... :confused2:

.. why do you ask? ;) if you know the people and hang out with a certain group, you have more chances of being approached by this kind of dealers. On that particular night, since alcohol was out, people turned to drugs. I know this as a fact because some of my friends did, and in the parking area a lot of people were asking for it. It's just like in Orange, the crowd isn't always just dancing..

too late, coke's back and it looks like it's staying on the front page. E may not be as hot as it used to be, but chi-chi people still venture there. Coke, on the other hand, is even more popular in tight crowds because you can just invite people at the table, snort some and have a blasting evening. Take Wherelse?. Plus the effect is even more... likened? than E's. Of course it's your brain that's on the line, but who listens anymore?

i dont even think it's a matter of who listens or not. i just think it's very very very sad that people has to come back to the decadence of society obsessed with blow. yes the effect is "better" than E but 1.) it's more expensive 2.)more debilatating 3.) where do they get the money to spend on this crap when the country and it's economy are in shambles.

but then again, i digress. going back to the po na na experience..heard it's all cool and trippy..i couldn't give you a first hand experience :)ahh manila, the sin city...

Po Na Na is in the Libis area in Q.C. If you're familiar with Eastwood's Cyberpark, it's almost across the Citybank building. Near Grilla. Hope to see ya there sometime! :nuts:

tsk tsk tsk. i dunno about that coke circulating around libis but I know for a fact that a few of my neighbors are doing E left and right. Same with porch. But I have to be honest, I don't pop or blow coz I prefer smoking that herb.

You guys be careful coz a lot of **** are circulating around like date-rape drugs and ekis which is prescribed to mentally insane people (unfortunately, I found out too late after I tried it, lol!). And some people I know party while on shabs too so just be careful who you may bump unintentionally along the dance floor. Some people are war-freaks or paranoid as usual. :smokin:

I respect your points of view cleva but let me ask you first, did you try taking them? if not, then I suggest that you be subtle and not self-righteous. That's the last thing any user would like to hear from a non-user. Let's just try to respect everyone's preferences here. And you don't need to ask my age, I may be wiser than my age or yours.

Sad to say, it happens and we can't do anything about it especially if a lot of these people waste their money for something they might regret when they grow older. We can only help them through awareness of the stuff they do with themselves. I admit I smoke but I'm a responsible smoker and that's a fact. :smokin:

answer to your question...yes i have...matter of fact i was such a crazy kid in high school and early college...i didn't mean to sound self righteous, apologies if i did, but i HAVE been there...and i just find it crazy how SOME people don't seem to grow out of it...i think it's quite sad....that's all....ok...i'm not trying to start a war here or anything....

I could have been there if not for a friend who had a bad "popping" episode last friday night but she wanted to go to twilo's. I hope I can enter Po na na without being blocked by the bouncer. There's no cover charge right? Last time I went there, I didn't even bother looking at the people manning the entrance and I just went in. Sadly, I was never the same again when I left Po na na (thanks to what I took). I'll try to come back and just drink. I made a promise to Josh first that I'll go to Venezia. I'll try to drop by next next week if I can. :smokin:

as for E and blow, i don't think that was ever out of style. more like the people you know just grew out of it. therefore, you don't hear of it as much.

I was there a couple of Saturdays ago. And as hard as it is to get in if you're an unfamiliar face, it was doubly so that time because KC Montero was celebrating his birthday that night.
