Hello All, Im planning to bring my family in Reno, Nevada medyo malayo kasi ang Vegas kaya sa Reno muna kami, any suggestions kung saan magandang place doon? Yung sanang pang pamilya place. Salamat!

The really nice places are outside of Reno. Don't fail to visit:

1. Virginia City - authentic wild, wild west town, nicely-preserved. You can join a tour or rent a car and drive up to this place where time seems to have stood still. Check out the abandoned gold mines.

2. Lake Tahoe - there's a regular daily bus tour, inclusive of lunch. It goes around Lake Tahoe. Stop over Squaw Valley, a ski resort and site of one of the Winter Olympics. You take lunch usually in South Lake Tahoe near the border with California. If you notice, the casinos are over in the Nevada side and none in the California side.

3. Harrah's Automobile Museum (Reno) - fantastic collection in themed settings including the car that was used in "Around the World in 80 days."
