Why? Do you find it practical? How much are you willing to spend for a single item, say for example, shoes?, blouse?, jeans?...etc. Do you think it's all worth your money?

doesnt matter how much as long as it suits me well and makes me feel real good, id shed the buckaroos! :blush2:

definitely its always practical for me basta i feel im getting my money's worth and able to make use of the item to the maximum!

yes but not everything i own are branded...i just find that the brands i'm very loyal to are the ones that i like the cut, quality, material and style. i'm very particular with those because i want a certain look that comes with my clothes. The one thing i don't like are the branded clothes that scream out certain designers..that to me is crass.

before i was brand conscious. as in i spent P18,000 per month on clothes alone. pero when i decided to live a simple life, i forgot all the brands in the market. although i must admit that their quality is a lot better than the ones sold in tiangges, but not all. i have this polo ralph that faded right after one laundry - it's a sports shirt with vertical blue stripes.

nowadays i guess people should wear clothes that are comfortable. material should be cotton coz it's too hot in manila.

I really don't give a flying f*ck if my shirt/jeans is not a designer brand. Wear the clothes that makes you feel good and comfortable.

yup... but it doesn't mean that all my personal things are all branded... i also wear fake and imitated ones as long as it fits well pagdating sa shirts and elephant jeans... basically i wear branded and signiture jeans and shoes.... ok lang maging cheap, nasa pag-dadala lang naman yan eh... at nasa face value!!! hehehe

i prefer the branded one's coz usually they are more attractive, have better designs and style...plus they also have better quality...but if something wtrikes my attention...i'll purchase it not minding if it is unbranded...

I'm a compulsive shopper, i go manic on my credit card. There's not a billing where i haven't reached the max. I often make a beeline for exclusive boutiques, but that's because i'm accustomed to them, and the prices don't seem as steep after you keep venturing there. Branded clothes have a definitely longer life span, have better quality and simply feel better on the skin if you know what i mean. But that isn't to say i only buy designer clothes. When i'm low on cash i stick to regular stores instead of going for Armani Exchange or the likes.
I am brand conscious, but then i'm not. Being one means being acutely aware of what you and the people around you own. I don't care if my friends don't shop where i do. And i don't really give importance to how much i pay for my clothes, etc. It's the norm for me, so what the heck? I just hate it when people assume that just because i dress well and expensively, i therefore think more of myself or whatever. D'uh! So what if i invest more on what i wear than most people do? It's my business! And i don't name drop my shopping sprees like " I just bought this absolutely gorgeous pair of mules from Gucci "
No, i'm not brand conscious, i just like shopping :)

I used to be brand conscious but the clother were never eough! I spend thousands and get 1 shirt. I guess I was this way coz everyone was this way at that time. Its a good thing that now, everyone (me, sisters, brothers, cousins, friends, etc) is really proud of being able to get the nicest cheap stuff! Payabangan pa! Like: i got this shirt for P100 only or I got this bag P80 only . . .

But! I do splurge on shoes. oh well. :p

:nope: ..never was. Most of my brand name items that I own are given to me as a gift. My text books are more expensive than my clothes!! ugh! Sad aint it?

...and I'm such a bargain shopper! There is no way I would buy a "brand"-named product for it's regular price!

...as long as it fits, as long as I'm comfortable ..as long as it looks presentable on me, I'd buy it!

well, not really..although like chiqui, i also can't resist stuff from mango and morgan. i go more for the overall "look" rather than the brand. i also like experimenting and mixing branded stuff with my wonderful finds from tutuban and greenhills. ;)

It's really cool to mix and match things.

Not really...more like whether or not a given brand-name item is genuine or not. It's quite irritating to see an abundance of knock-off items like they're some sort of disease. What's worse is that you can find a bunch of them in a local SM mall in an SM store itself. No offense, but I'd rather wear a plain shirt than get caught wearing a fake Abercrombie shirt...matter of fact, I do wear LOTS non-popular items as well as several crombie clothings, and they're all genuine :)

I'm not brand conscious at all. Next to being attracted to a dress, for example, because of its style or color, quality comes next.

I go for the quality and what my pocket can afford. I don't think the brand should matter but it's with the way you carry your clothes.
I see some Filipinos around who wear all these branded clothing but then, the clothes just don't look expensive on them, they look cheap pa tuloy. It boils down to how well you carry your clothes. You might wear a brandless clothes but if you carry as if it was $500 wardrobe then, that counts more. ;)

not really... as long as i'm comfortable with what i'm wearing, it doesnt matter if its "branded" or not... :D

yep, i'm brand conscious. i always buy branded stuff:

- SPARTAN slippers (tibay talaga mon)
- WALKER briefs and supporters (si vince hizon ang endorser)
- GUITAR white undershirts (3 for P200)
- BENCH and PENSHOPPE t-shirts (quality has really improved)
- BOBSON jeans (200 pesos lang! i can buy 2 pieces with a P500 bil, may sukli pa)
- SEIKO watch (maswerte din)
- i2i shades (less than a P100)
- COLOURS shoes (around P1600, medyo expensive na nga eh)
- DARLINGTON socks (3 for P100)
- McJIM belt (P 189 lang)

and you won't find me dead wearing a fake ABERCROMBIE shirt! my greatest extravagance was buying a MARKS AND SPENCER polo -- (on sale: 40% off at P700++)

now with all the savings i've got from buying BRANDED affordable goods, i can finally pay the downpayment for a house and lot in laguna bel-air-- my own home, and hey, i just turned 26 years old.

i guess it depends on what you value in life. clothes and other stuff are temporary. some other things are more important and made to last
