hi sianshine! i think we have the same problem. i have no problem with my upper body or my waist pero hips and thighs ko lang talaga ang problema. and like you, i have a really hard time looking for a pair of jeans that flatter my "unproportioned" figure. that's why instead of jeans, i wear slacks (pangpataba kasi ang jeans..lalo na yung mga fit sa legs tapos flares that are full-length or reach up to the floor) or skirts most of the time (knee-length to hide my hips and legs). pero if ever i feel like wearing jeans, i wear the dark indigo-colored ones to make my hips & thighs look smaller...it's either straight cut or semi-capri (length only goes up till your ankles) for me

Well, if you're heavy at the bottom, don't highlight your hips by squeezing into straight-leg jeans. Try wearing bootcut pants and jeans (preferably dark denim). U can also try pairing cargo pants (those low pockets will keep eyes away from hips and thighs) w/ a sexy cropped top or a tank or a fitted tee.

thanks, i also do wear slacks most of the time and cargo pants for a casual get up. the problem with wearing straight cut (denims), if it fits on my hips, then it will be loose on my waist. and if i get something that fits both on my waist and hips, the problem will be on the crotch. maybe i should just forget abt wearing denims :(

Try flat front pants. Avoid pants that cling to your thighs too much. They will just emphasize your hips and rear. And make sure your top falls just a few centimeters below your pants' waistline. :)

If your pants you fit are loose on the waist and fits just right on the hips, why not get a semi-hipster. These has a lower riding fit that clings on the right places.
