Do you smoke cigarettes?

I started smoking when I was 21. Now, I smoke a lot. I started with marlboro reds then I later switched to lights. There was a time when I stopped, but after a month, I was back in the habit. But I'm not the type who's addicted to it. If I don't feel like smoking, I don't.

I always make sure I have my hand sanitizer, cologne and mints.

Why is this vice so hard to kick off? ;)

yes i smoke... any kind of cigarette will do...
i started with Davidoff... which my cuz gave me for my 17th birthday...
then i switched to Marlboro lights...
then i switched to Marlboro reds...
now i take anything...

it's not, once you put your mind to it.

avoid hanging out with people who smoke. and find something else to do when you're bored and all alone (which was always my reason for lighting up).:smoking: my only other problem was that i seemed to have an oral fixation, so now i always carry a pack of gum, candies or lollipops.:yum:

i used to get these intense cravings that wouldn't go away, like after heavy meals and before i went to bed. nowadays, a whiff of cigarette smoke is enough to make me wretch. don't know how i was able to stand it all that time.:(

Nope! Have tried before but never liked it. Some of my friends are heavy smokers though - so when I'm with them, I feel like I'm smoking na rin :) They want to quit but can't seem to bring themselves to do it. Self-control and discipline lang yan.

I started 2 years ago with Capri. After which I switched to Davidoff...then winston lights. west ice...
But when I'm really having a bad day I smoke West Reds...
As of now I use west ultra and winston lights... hehe! :newangel:

hehehe...nah...ive tried before...for curiousity's sake! ***** i had like 3-4 sticks of marlboro lights straight but its like hithit-buga lang hehe so i dont know if you'd consider that talagang smoking... man i was like bangag after that! :redsmile: har har har! super hilo! never liked it so even if almost all my friends smoke (chain!)the habit never really rubbed off on me. prior to that, a friend influenced me to try naman parang *** slim tobacco or cigars? (pls correct me for the term if necessary) yuuuuuuuum! that i liked!!!! tasted like chocolate! har har har! :blush2: ***** i had half a pack. i know its much more matapang than the ordinary cigarettes i guess you could imagine how i was like when i finished it all off... for a non-smoker...corz the effect is mejo strong! pero un lang. other than those times... its always 2nd hand smoking for me which is reallllllly bad...but hey i love hanging out with my friends! :blushing:

Smoked for ten years, then one day I just stopped. I guess being relocated helped. Having different surroundings/friends helped I guess.

Nah... I don't smoke cigarettes. Before, I got curious, put a stick on my mouth but I didn't get the chance to light it. And I haven't had any regrets of not having tried it. :)

Started at the age of 14, with local Winstons and Marlboros which my classmates would smoke in the boy's room...

Moved on to blue seal Marlboro in college...and started smoking West Ice when I started working...

Ngayon back to local Winston na naman ako. Para tipid. :D Paminsan-minsan na lang ako nagbu-blue seal...

Yes, i do...and i smoke with a purpose bcoz i wan't to ease the tension and temporarily take the problems away from my mind...not like some other people who smoke just to look cool and feel cool...even though they can't take the headrush...These are Poseurs...trademark: the classic "hit-hit buga"

tas nung first year college, i shifted to winston select - reds then nag lights. sarap e. then, nag marlboro lights ako.

tas quit smoking for one year.

then ngayon, 23 years old na ko, marlboro reds na ang yosi ko .... :)

sa mga bata pa ... wag niyo akong tularan !!! pero kung trip niyo mag yosi ng mag yosi e wala na ako magagawa. basta its not something good to do. at dun sa mga pa-yosi yosi na hindi marunong, muka kayong t@nga kaka hithit buga.

i started with marlboro lights - i didn't like the taste, so i shifted to davidoff lights... i discovered luckies (lights) and it was my brand for almost 3 years - but i went through this gudang garam phase - back when nobody in my shool smoked it yet and i had to go to UM in taft to buy the stuff! back then it was stronger and i got headrush just form smoking it! :crazy:
i've somewhat stopped smoking right now, a pack of cigs is too expensive here in the US! i'm just making do with the cigs i brought over from the phils (paubos na! :bawl: )... niweys, if start buying cigs again i'll have to settle for marlboros, they don't have my brand, West ice here :(

i do smoke but not regularly. i do this when i have problems and when i'm so naguguluhan. usually to ease the tension - and pressure. i don't smoke everyday, only when i get the chance. once, i chained four sticks and got a headrush. i haven't smoked na kasi for a long time when i did that. kanina i tried one but i didn't like the taste na. i dunno what happened...

sorry, i dont like cigarettes coz of its smoke.. i tried it once but i don't like it. It leaves the smell in your suits so as much as possible, i want to stay away from smokers. I was on my field assignment last week and i met lots of smokers. Honestly, i feel uncomfortable but i just pretend to be ok!

i ate almond lychee taho then choco pudding one morning...so my stomach started revolting...then i took in about half a pack of Marlboro Reds...then i decided to smack out again another stick but...then my stomach started to churn...but i was stubborn and didn't mind it...so when i coughed(i had a bad cold)...to my surprise...when i was about to cover my mouth...the taho i ate went out of my lips and i spilled vomit in the "yosihan"...then i pulled again another stick...

Unfortunately I do.. :( I started smoking when I was in the third year high school pa. I started with Marlboro Lights blue seal and smoked that for how many years until they came out with the fake ones. Then I shifted to Camel and then now I'm smoking West Ice.

I smoke and I hate it. I was playing around with it during 1st yr high school. Hithit-buga pa! Then mga 3rd yr I learned to inhale it na talaga. I've never been a heavy smoker naman. I can go for days w/o smoking but when I go drinking, I really have to smoke. I love Davidoff -- smooth!

Tips for those who are trying to quit: Don't buy packs and siyempre reams! Be diyahe to bum a smoke from someone. Don't bring a lighter. Develop a taste for the expensive brands so that it would be too expensive for you to buy a pack. Sayang pera diba! Well, this works for me, it might work for you.

but this tactic might backfire on the smoker...just like drugs he might just invest more for his daily dose of nicotine...

i used to but i stopped na kasi i get sick (literally) when i smoke. i started when i was in second year high school. i remember it was a ysl stick. i never really enjoyed smoking, i just did it to mingle.

Well, i guess it depends din sa tao. Kasi may pagka-kuripot ako so this tactic worked for me. I didn't want to spend for expensive yosi and I'd bum 1 or 2 sticks lang tapos syempre dyahe na diba. There are times when I really wanna smoke pero I'm too lazy to go out and buy a stick (syempre papawisan ka pa when you have to walk to the sarisari store to buy) then I find something else to do. so I saved my self for that one time na I really craved for yosi.

i used to smoke like a chimney when i still lived in the Philippines because it was so darn cheap and most of my friends were smoking, it seemed like it was unfair for me if i didnt smoke since they're giving me second hand smoke :lol: i've been smoking since i was in 7th grade then when i moved here... POOF wala na...it's so darn expensive here, imagine..5 bucks a pack. NO THANK YOU. it was either shopping or financing my pack-a-day addiction. Shopping won :D

i started smoking at 14...reds...then lights...then kahit ano....local or blue i didn't give a f*ck....then around junior year of hs i started smoking lucky lights.....then i switched back to marlboro lights...til 2nd year college when i quit...it was hell...i couldnt concentrate in class coz all i did was think abt cigarettes....i'd chew on my pens and almost anything i could get my hands on...i'd sit next to smokers to test myself but at the same time inhale smoke ( daya noh)...til eventually...the smell, and everything abt it grossed me out and i managed to quit for a year-then stupid stupid me picked up the habit again middle of 3rd year college....but i havent smoked since the end of may coz ive been sick and on medication that requires me not to smoke...so if i end up quitting again after all this, then good for me.....hahaha

pero ngayon wala na. it was never a habit in the first place. so i guess that's what made it easy to quit.

:) I use to smoke a pack of Bencon and Hedges regular gold a day and I made myself stop completely...Been a year and 1/2 now. I smoke the occasional cigar when I am drinking socially. Now I 've gotten rid of the urge that I don't mind people smoking cigarettes around me.....BTW I enjoyed the feeling of cold turkey....:lol:

up until a month ago i was the yosi queen :D
but my cute na cute na doctor told na to stop because i developed pleurisy and pneumonia. pleurisy wasnt so bad... so ive water in my right lung because of smoking too much; they can always aspirate it kahit na with a syringe the size of a crochet hook ... it was abruptly stopping smoking! you can't imagine the hell i went through quitting cold turkey coupled with the side-effects of the medicine! yucky, not something i want to go through again.

I've been smoking for 6 years now. I started when the girl I courted before did so. Siyempre I have to at least blend it. I started with Marlboro Lights blue seal para makaimpress. Hehehe. But now it's a habit! Ever since I was left here in Manila to pursue my studies 1 pack a day na ako! There was a time when I was into Camel Special Lights. It was good, no aftertaste then I joined theater and everybody was smoking winston lights na local. Up to this day, grabe pa rin ako mag smoke! Anyway, my girlfriend threatened to leave me if I don't stop smoking in two months, just in time for our second year anniversary. Shucks! I don't know what to do! Sarap kasi eh! Lalo na after a meal or drinking with my buddies! <Marlboro Mediums and San Mig Light go well together!>. I actually considered taking medication, even my parents volunteered to sponsor my medicine. I just think I'm not ready to quit! It's so hard to imagine myself not smoking. I guess it's all in the mind. Maybe I need a little push. Hay naku!

Anecdote lang, I once opened a pack of Perrily's na blue seal and I found a dollar bill inside! Weird! I'm not kidding guys! It's the yosi that comes in a dark pack, mukha siyang pang-daddy-o. Aba, may pera pala sa yosi! :)
